Bei der Redaktion eingegangen am 9. Juni 1994. Inhaltsubersicht. Aus M(HSe03)2-Liisungen konnten erstmals Einkristalle von Mg(HSe03)z 4 H 2 0 sowie die bisher nicht bekannten Verbindungen C O ( H S~O~)~ . 4 HzO, Ni(HSe03)2 . 4 H z 0 und Zn(HSe03)2 -4 H 2 0 erhalten werden. Die Kristallstrukturen, Riintgenpulverdaten, IR-und Raman-Spektren sowie die Ergebnisse thermoanalytischer (IYTA, TC, Raman-Heizaufnahmen) Untersuchungen werden mitgeteilt und diskutiert. Die Kristalldaten der isotypen Verbindungen sind: monoklin, Raumgruppe C2/c, Z = 4, Mg: a = 1464,6(2), b = 755,3(1), c = 1099,9(l)pm, / 3 = 126,59(1)O, V = 0,9769(l)nm3, Co: a = 1462,5(2), b = 756,5(2), c = 1 102,2(2) pm, /3 = 126,53(1)", V = 0,9798(2) nm', Ni: a = 1452,2(2), b = 751,0(1), c = 1091,5(l)pm, /3 = 126,28(1)", V = 0,9595(1)nm3, Zn: a = 1468,3(2), b = 755,8(1), c = 1103,1(1)pm, /3 = 126,79(1)", V = 0,9804(2) nm3. Die Kristallstrukturen bestehen aus hexagonal gepackten [M(HSe03)2 * 2 H20],-Ketten Se-verbruckter [M04(Hz0)2]-0ktaeder. Sie enthalten trigonal pyramidale SeOzOH--1onen mit ,,freien" Hydroxylgruppen und ,,freie' ' Kristallwassermolekiile. Die Hydroxylgruppen bilden starke H-Briicken (0-H -. -0-Abstande: 265 -268 pm). Die IR-Spektren zeigen im Bereich der OH-Streckschwingungen der Hydroxylgruppen AB-Doublett-Banden. Die Kristallwassermolekule sind zu planaren (H20),-Tetrameren mit ungewiihnlich kurzen 0-H ---0,-Abstanden (271 -273 pm) H-verbruckt. Die thermische Zersetzung fiihrt nach DTA-und TG-Messungen direkt zum jeweiligen Diselenit MSe205. Mittels Raman-Heizaufnahmen unter Quasi-Gleichgewichtsbedingungen konnte erstmals die intermediare Bildung wasserfreier Hydrogenselenite beobachtet werden.
