Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan kajian terkait pengolahan sampah organik dengan Black Soldier Fly (BSF) di TPA Kebon Kongok. Kebon kongok merupakan salah satu TPA Regional yang terletak di Desa Suka Makmur Kecamatan Gerung Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Terdapat sepuluh kegiatan pengelolaan yang dilakukan pada TPA Kebon Kongok yaitu Penimbangan, Pengawas Timbunan, kegiatan operasional alat berat, daur ulang, pengelolaan air lindi, penanganan gas (biogas), zona penyangga, pemulung, sosial dan pengolahan sampah organik dengan Black Soldier Fly (BSF). Hasil penelitian terkait kajian terhadap pengolahan sampah organik dengan Black Soldier Fly (BSF) menunjukkan bahwa tahapan dalam proses pengolahan sampah organik dengan BSF yaitu penimbangan sampah, pembongkaran sampah di unit unloading sampah (proses pemilahan), pencacahan sampah organik, penimbangan sebelum dimasukkan ke bioreaktor, proses pada bioreaktor, tahap panen larva dewasa, pemidahan telur larva ke hatcery, pemindahan telur BSF ke hatcery, pemindahan larva ke bioreaktor untuk mengolah sampah organik, pembiakan larva menjadi lalat hingga dewasa
A photodegradation process of methylene blue (MB) in aqueous solution using Fe(III)/TiO2-montmorillonite photocatalyst is presented. The photocatalyst material was prepared using Indonesian natural montmorillonite in TiO2pillarization process followed by Fe(III) ion exchange. Kinetic study on MB degradation was conducted and evaluated by three kinetic models: the pseudo-first- and second-order equations and the Elovich equation. From the results, it is concluded that the degradation under the photo-Fenton-like process utilizing Fe(III)/TiO2-montmorillonite photocatalyst conformed to the Elovich kinetic model.
PREPARATION OF Fe 3+ /TiO 2 -MONTMORILLONITE AS CATALYST IN AZO DYE DEGRADATION. Preparation of Fe 3+ /TiO 2 -Montmorillonite and its activity test on azo dyesdegradation has been performed. The succeed of material preparation was examined by physicochemical characterization by using X-ray Diffraction, BET surface area analyzer and Diffuse Reflectance UV-Visible. The role of physicochemical character to catalytic activity was evaluated in the degradation reaction of two azo dyes: metil jingga and metilena biru by examination of its kinetics study in the Photo-Fenton like mechanism. Result of research showed the success of Fe 3+ /TiO 2 -Montmorillonit preparation and its fulfillment of goals as a catalyst in dye degradation via photo-Fenton mechanism. Kinetics data simulation demonstrates that degradation reaction for both dyes obey the Langmuir-Hinshelwood kinetics model with the values of k and K for respectively. The values of rate constant and adsorption-desorption constant from both dyes describe the role of surface interaction in catalysis.
