Nowadays, when the production of knowledge is increasing rapidly, new production technologies have become extremely important to create useful products. The changing human needs and desires to produce many products in a short time enable countries to produce different technologies and integrate them into daily life. The aim of this research is to investigate teachers' and students' views on the educational contributions of using 3D design programs and 3D printers A mixed research method was used within a convergent parallel design. For the quantitative part of the study, a survey was conducted with 108 students. Then, 10 gifted students were randomly selected among the students participating in the survey and interviews were conducted. Interviews were also conducted with 3 teachers worked in Science and Art Centers (SACs) where educated gifted students in Turkey. The data were collected and analyzed through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. According to the results of the research, it appears that 3D design technologies play an important role in the development of students' knowledge and skills, students use these technologies quite a lot when producing projects or designing the products of their projects, and this situation motivates them in the project production process. In addition, appears that students can print their own course materials to learn.
Yükseköğretim süreci bireyin yaşamında büyük önem taşıyan kritik bir dönemdir. Bireyin yükseköğretime yönelik beklentilerinin karşılanması ve yükseköğretim sürecinin desteklenmesi için bireyin beklentilerinin bilinmesi gerekmektedir. Öğretim elemanlarının da yükseköğretim sürecine yönelik öğrencilerden beklentileri bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, lisansüstü öğrencilerin öğretim elemanlarından; öğretim elemanlarının lisansüstü öğrencilerden beklentilerini ve metaforik algılarını belirlemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu Mersin Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi'nde öğrenim görmekte olan 26 lisansüstü öğrencisi ile Mersin Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi'nde görev yapmakta olan 12 öğretim elemanından oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada temel nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veriler açık uçlu anket formuyla toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Öğretim elemanlarının lisansüstü eğitimi alan öğrencilerden "Bilimsel Bakış Açısı ve Hakimiyet" beklentisi içerisinde oldukları ve lisansüstü eğitimi alan öğrencilere yönelik metaforik algılarının "Fidan ve Çırak" kelimeleri üzerinde yoğunlaştıkları tespit edilmiştir. Lisansüstü öğrencilerinin öğretim elemanlarından "Rehberlik Etme-Doğru Yönlendirme" beklentisi içerisinde oldukları ve öğretim elemanlarına yönelik metaforik algılarının "Navigasyon" kelimesi üzerinde yoğunlaştıkları tespit edilmiştir.
The aim of this study is to examine the effects of web 2.0 supported content language integrated learning activities and Web2.0 on students' speaking and creative writing skills in English as a foreign language course. The study group of the research consists of middle school 6th grade students. There are 60 students, 2 in the experimental group and 1 in the control group, in the study. The intervention design, one of the mixed research designs, was used in the research. The implementation phase of the study lasted for 8 weeks. During this period, web 2.0 supported CLIL activities were applied to the experimental group 1 and web 2.0 supported learning activities to the experimental group 2."A1-A2 Oral Expression Scale" developed according to CEFR A1 and A2 skills, "Creative Writing Items Evaluation Scale" and interview questions were used as data collection tools. In the research, "A1-A2 Oral Expression Scale" and "Creative Writing Products Evaluation Scale" were applied as pretest and post-test. While one-way analysis of variance was performed in the analysis of quantitative data, qualitative data were evaluated by content analysis and divided into themes, and these were also classified with codes within themselves. Before the implementation, it was seen that the speaking and writing skill levels of all groups were similar. As a result of the research, web 2.0 supported content integrated learning activities improved students' speaking and writing skills positively; On the other hand, it was seen that web 2.0 supported activities improved students' speaking skills in a positive way, but were not effective in writing skills. Further research can be performed in other grades or classes following the results of the research.
