Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi dan menganalisa bagaimana perilaku pemilih beragama islam terhadap partai islam pada Pemilihan Legislatif tahun 2019 di Kecamatan Danau Teluk dan untuk mengetahui alasan pemilih beragama islam tidak konsisten dalam menentukan pilihannya terhadap partai politik islam. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptip kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di Kota Jambi tepatnya yaitu di Kecamatan Danau Teluk. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model analisis yang paling aktif dimana data disajikan dan ditarik kesimpulan, yang kegiatannya dilakukan secara terus-menerus dengan proses pengumpulan data berupa wawancara sebagai proses siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat bahwa terdapat empat kategori pemilih yaitu pemilih rasional, pemilih tradisional, pemilih kritis dan pemilih skeptis yang tersebar di Kecamatan Danau Teluk. Namun jenis pemilih yang mendominasi di Kecamatan Danau Teluk yaitu pemilih tradisional yang menentukan pilihannya berdasarkan faktor figur calon anggota legislatif (caleg) baik dari asal-usul caleg, kedekatan sosial-budaya atau kekerabatan, kedekatan emosional, mengedepankan kepribadian pemimpin, serta nilai historis partai politik. selain itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alasan pemilih beragama islam tidak konsisten dalam menentukan pilihannya terhadap partai politik islam karena pemilih tidak terlalu mementingkan asas ideology suatu partai, sehingga menjadikan pemilih tidak serta merta untuk memilih partai berasas islam pula sesuai agama yang dianut, tetapi pemilih lebih dominan mempertimbangkan faktor figur caleg yang berasal dari Kecamatan Danau Teluk.
