The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the mediation role of innovation ambidexterity on the impact of absorptive capacity on sustainable competitive advantage from the previous researchers' data article publication. A survey of academic and nonacademic staff from sixty four private higher education institutions (PHEIs) in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia was conducted for the research. A total of five hundred and thirty completed questionnaires from 478 academic and 52 non academic staff were statistically analyzed using SPSS and smart PLS. Investigating sustainable competitive advantage related issues for PHIEs in Indonesia is important for a number of reasons, including supporting the vision of the Golden Indonesia generation 2045. Moreover, the impact of absorptive capacity on sustainable competitive advantage in the literature is remains unclear, thus a new theoretical framework is needed related to the concept of ambidexterity. The finding of this research shows that innovation ambidexterity partially mediates the effect of absorptive capacity on sustainable competitive advantage as proposed in the hypothesis. The implications of this study are discussed.

The chapter presents findings from a study of the effects of work life programmes on employees attitudes and behaviour in the Indonesian higher education sector. Work attitudes and behaviours examined include organizational citizenship behaviours (OCB), in-role performance, and organizational commitment. These employee attitudes and behaviours were selected to be tested as it is generally claimed by employers that adopting formal organizational support on work and family issues could improve attitudes and behaviours, which in turn will benefit the organization. The relationship between work life balance programmes and employee behaviours and attitudes was tested via a survey across Indonesian higher education institutions.
This study aims to analyze the effect of quality of work-life and work motivation on employee engagement and job satisfaction as an intervening variable. Quality of work-life is the foundation which determines the level of satisfaction and engagement in an organization. Explanatory research with a quantitative approach was conducted on a private university in Malang with 74 respondents. This study uses Path Analysis to examine research data. It is found that the motivation provided by the university towards the lecturer, such as job security, reward, and spirit, can increase the satisfaction and engagement. Similarly for job satisfaction, the relationship between colleagues and a comfortable working environment can create lecturers' engagement in the institution.
