This study aims to reveal and determine the level of anxiety of students in thesis preparation in the Physical Education Study Program of Health and Recreation, Faculty of Sport Science, State University of Padang. This type of research is classified in quantitative descriptive research. The sampling technique in this study used stratified random sampling. The sample in this study was taken 20% of the total population, namely 53 students. This study used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire and data analysis techniques used a descriptive percentage. The data analysis technique in this study used a descriptive percentage. The results of this study reveal that the level of student anxiety in thesis preparation in the Physical Education Study Program of Health and Recreation, Faculty of Sport Sciences, Padang State University is seen from all the sub-variables, namely there are 3 (5.7%) students who are in very heavy criteria. , 32 (60.4%) students who are in the heavy criteria and 18 (33.9%) students who are in the moderate criteria.
