The world development has entered the Globalization and Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. People are required to have new literacy skills for facing some changes in their life. The new literacy skills are data literacy, technological literacy, and human literacy, as a basic capital for taking part in social life. One of the abilities that need to be owned and has an important role in an individual's competitive advantage is the ability to lead the society. One way to develop this capability is through the application of agile leadership models. This leadership model can create a figure of leader who is calm, adaptable, innovative, always learning from experience and give feedback, helpful, smart to see opportunities, adaptive, agile, open-minded and have a high ambiguity acceptance while still maintaining the productivity and achievement of the company's main goals at the same time. The agile leadership model should be considered to be applied in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era because the fast-changing world requires a figure of leader who is calm, adaptable, innovative, always learning from experience and give feedback and motivate to help others and think for next generation.
Physics education essentially intends to cultivate student’s analytical and reasoning capabilities. However, this objective is hard to achieve because there are many students who facing difficulties in solving physics problems. This research was conducted to identify the types of student’s difficulties in solving momentum and impulse problems, along with the factors causing it. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach to 66 students of Senior High School 2 Makassar who had studied momentum and impulse topics. The data collection process was carried out using test and interviews. Based on the results, it can be identified that there are two types of student’s difficulties in solving momentum and impulse problems. The first type was physical difficulties which consisted of student’s difficulty in understanding the questions (26%) and student’s difficulty in determining the useable equations (25%). Then, the second type was mathematical difficulties which consisted of student’s difficulty in substituting the data to the equation (63%) and student’s difficulty in performing mathematical operations (76%). Based on interviews and analysis, it can be concluded that these difficulties was commonly faced by students while solving physics problems, including in momentum and impulse topic. Futhermore, the difiiculties were caused by several factors, namely: 1) the lack of student’s understanding about physics concepts, 2) the weakness of student’s mathematical skills, 3) the lack of physics learning process which is not honing student’s problem-solving skills and 4) the lack of student’s motivation on developing their problems solving skills in physics subjects. Thus, researchers recommend to all physics teachers in Indonesia to immediately develop or implement learning strategies or methods which are considered capable of overcome all student’s difficulties that have been found.
<p>Radicalism has become a real threat faced by all countries in the world, including Indonesia. This condition occurs because radicalism is the origin ideology of terrorism which has been confirmed as an extraordinary crime for the world. So, the Indonesian government needs to pay special attention to counter the radicalism issue which is now growing rapidly in Indonesia. This article was written to analyze the Government, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) roles in countering radicalism issues in Indonesia through good governance concept. This article is written based on the result of phenomenology research used literature study approach of various literature that is relevant to the research topic. Based on the study, the results show that the countering process of radicalism issues conducted by the government of the Republic of Indonesia has not been well managed, because there is no strong legal basis concerning radicalism in Indonesia. Additionally, the weak synergy between the TNI and the Polri, which is tasked to countering radicalism issues, is also become an obstacle for eradicate radicalism issues in Indonesia. Therefore, optimizing the role of the Government, TNI, and Polri are needed by prevention, mapping, detention, and contra radicalism actions. On the other hand, those three parties must strengthen their synergy and cooperative in performed their roles in maintaining public security and national security from the dangers of radicalism.</p>
Globalization always lead to various kinds of influences, both negative nor positive, on the national character. In Indonesia, globalization has caused a significant degradation of national character which ended by the poor national character of the Indonesia's young generation. In order to minimalize this impact, the Indonesian government has launched a program, named State Defense Awareness Programme (Program Pembinaan Kesadaran Bela Negara), in order to perform the mental revolution program and building the national character of Indonesia's young generation, which has influenced by the negative effect of globalization. But until now, the Indonesian citizens are still not convinced that State Defense Awareness Programme can be an appropriate means in building the national character of Indonesian citizens. This condition was supported by the emergence of negative stigma related to State Defense Awareness Programme, which ultimately reduces the level of people participation in the program.
