Disparity was critical problem for long time perception with a conventional stereoscopic endoscope such as laparoscope etc. The problem is fatigue. The disparity is defined as for only stereo pair except blurred images of them in this paper. We produced a new type endoscope which enabled both flexible and non-flexible type using SUS guide tube. The endoscope was disparity and distortion free concerning stereo perception. However stereoscopic images on our 3-D system (STEREVIC) taken by stereoscopic fiberscope have slight mixing of right and left perception. It is considered that this crosstalk occurs during image transmission in fiber bundle, because our apparatus doesn't use polarized light maintain fiber, but ordinary image fiber. Furthermore, crevice between a pair of polarizers arranged in objective lens is considered one of the reasons for the outbreak of crosstalk, so that we propose a method to reduce the influence of crosstalk in our system. The system is composed of a GRIN lens, a pair of polarizers, image fiber bundle, light guide fiber, polarizing beam splitter, a pair of CCDs, aliner subtraciion circuit and a stereoscopic liquid crystal display. The diameter of the fiberscope was 1.5 mm. 1.INTRODUCTION3-D images used in the medical field are usually classified into two groups1. One is pseudo 3-D images which reconstruct 3-D images using computer graphics. For example, recently medical CT apparatus have such functions and carry out shading procedures for objective images by calculation of CT value and surface sampling of organs. The other is true 3-D image which are available for binocular stereoscopic perception and is useful for micro surgery or educational surgical simulation in virtual space. Multi-parallax, electro-holographic and multi-planer methods are known to reconstruct true 3-D images. But these methods have some drawbacks about taking and transmission of their 3-D images or restriction of observation area and the number of parallax or planes. So these method are insufficient for clinical application. We have developed a new type 3-D display which permits simultaneous observation of a stereo pair by plural persons without special glasses 2 The present paper describes our sophisticated commercial base stereoscopic liquid crystal TV(STEREVIC) and a stereoscopic fiberscope for an application of the STEREVIC. Disparity(one of cue for stereo perception) was critical problem for long time perception with conventional stereoscopic endoscope such as laparoscope. The problem is fatigue. The disparity is defined as for only stereo pair except blurred images of them in this paper. 2.MATERTALS AND METHOD Stereoscopic liquid crystal TV(STEREVIC)Figurel shows a schematic diagram of our back light system using a focal feature of fresnel lens3. This figure points out only the right eye system. A special infrared lamp illuminated the right side of the viewers? faces. The fresnel lens was arranged so that an image of the viewers is focused at the plane of the monochrome 2-D display which is positioned behind....
