Bending fatigue tests of induction hardened SUJ2 stee ] gears were carried out and ∫ 一 , V curves and bending fatigue 】 imits were obtained . On the basis of these results , effects of heating time , pre − treatment and tempering on e 士 ' fective hardened depth and bending fatigue limits ofinduction hardened SUJ2 steel gears were clarified , Furthermore , thcse results were also compared with those ofinduction hardened S35C steel gears .
