The role of the mass media is very decisive in the delivery of information and a government policy. In line with the increasing level of communication technology development, the communication method rapid development as well. But all of that has the same accentuation that communicators convey messages and ideas to the publik. When detailed more concretely, the method of communication in the contemporary world which is the development of verbal and nonverbal communication covers many fields, including journalism, publik relations, advertising, exhibitions/ expositions, and publikations that will influence political culture. This paper will discuss more about the influence of mass media in education policy.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the amount of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers' efforts and roles, as well as how they should be involved in developing students' digital literacy. This is due to pupils' inadequate digital literacy, which manifests itself as an inability to process information gained via technology, information, and communication devices. In fact, digital literacy is one of the literacy foundations that are included in 21st-century skills. According to data issued by the Ministry of Communication and Information, Indonesia ranks second in cybercrime and the frequency of false information (hoax), making PAI teachers responsible for increasing digital literacy for students on both a moral and professional level. Interviews with various PAI teachers in Semarang are used in this study. The purpose of the interview was to evaluate how far PAI teachers had progressed in enhancing pupils' digital literacy. According to the findings of this study, PAI teachers' efforts are still minimal. The development of information technology as a method and a learning medium has not been optimized. A research based article “The model of PAI curriculum development at Junior high school in Semarang” is intended to see how far the development of PAI curriculum at Junior High School in Semarang. The main problem in this research is: how is the development of PAI curriculum at Junior high school in Semarang. The techniques of collecting data applied in this research are (1) observation to collect data of PAI curriculum development application at NASIMA Junior High School and Sultan Agung Islamic Junior High School I; (2) An interview to get a clear, comprehensive and indepth information about PAI curriculum policy and it’s implementation at Nasima and Sultan Agung Islamic Junior High School I; (3) documentation, is for collecting a history documentation, to formulate a curriculum. Descriptive-interpretative is used to analyze collected data.The reseach result shows that Nasima Junior High School and Sultan Agung Junior High School – Semarang have innovative and strategic steps in developing a curriculum. The curriculum is interpretated based on the needs of school and society through a religion and Islamic school culture activity.
Article entitled "Management of Islamic Boarding School (Case Study at Al-Muhsin Student Islamic Boarding School of Yogyakarta)" intended to see as far as the management development at Al-Muhsin Student Islamic boarding school. The main problem in this research is to know how the management development at Al-Muhsin Student Islamic boarding school. There are three data collection techniques used in this study, namely: (1) observations, to obtain data on the implementation of the management development at Al-Muhsin Student Islamic Boarding School; (2) interviews, to get clearer, more complete, and profound information about the management development at Al-Muhsin Student Islamic Boarding School; (3) documentation, to obtain historical documents of management formulation. While the data analysis used is descriptive interpretative. The results showed that; Al-Muhsin Student Islamic Boarding School of Yogyakarta has innovative steps and strategies in developing a management; management was interpreted according to the needs of the school and the community namely through activities that called the management development of Al-Muhsin Islamic Boarding School, which was applied to the learning of faith and had been carried out by the teachers very well and efficiently.Keywords: Management, Pesantren,
AbstrakDampak dari temuan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) telah menyebar ke seluruh dunia dengan cepat dan memengaruhi kehidupan kita. Meskipun teknologi ini diciptakan untuk kemajuan peradaban manusia, banyak orang menggunakannya untuk tujuan jahat demi keuntungan pribadi semata. Pornografi, sadisme, dan aneka tipu daya dengan mudah diekspos dan kemudian menyebar secara viral, serta sangat mudah diakses oleh anak-anak. Dalam Islam, internet dipahami sebagai wasilah (cara) bukan ghayah (tujuan). Layaknya sebuah pisau, baik atau buruknya internet bergantung pada bagaimana orang yang menggunakannya. Program Pelatihan Budaya Internet Islami (BUNETI) ini dirancang menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif di mana mitra akan terlibat langsung dalam mengidentifikasi masalah dan menemukan solusi generik yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Kelompok perempuan (PKK) desa Sriwulan, kecamatan Sayung kabupaten Demak menjadi sasaran kegiatan. Keluarga merupakan unit terkecil di masyarakat. Orang tua, memiliki peran yang sangat penting bagi tumbuh kembang anak-anak mereka. Orang tua khususnya seorang ibu perlu membekali diri mereka dengan pengetahuan internet, sehingga mereka dapat menjadi mitra dan pendamping bagi anak-anaknya. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 40 peserta yang sangat antusias. Dalam evaluasi bersama pelatihan dalam penggunaan internet secara sehat yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam telah memberikan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan kesadaran bagi seorang ibu tanpa harus anti terhadap perkembangan teknologi.Kata kunci: internet sehat, keluarga, nilai-nilai IslamAbstractThe impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) findings has spread throughout the world quickly and affects our lives. Although technology created for the advancement of human civilization, many people use it for evil purposes for personal gain. Pornography, sadism, and various tricks are quickly exposed and then spread viral, and are very accessible to children. In Islam, the internet understood as wasilah (way) not ghayah (purpose). Like a knife, the good or bad of the internet depends on how people use it. The Islamic Internet Culture Training Program (BUNETI) is designed using a participatory approach where partners will be directly involved in identifying problems and finding generic solutions that are in line with Islamic values. The women's group (PKK) in Sriwula village, Sayung District, Kab. Demak was the target of the activity. A family is the smallest unit in society. Parents have a significant role in their children's growth and development. Parents, especially a mother, need to equip themselves with internet knowledge so that they can become partners and assistants for their children. Forty enthusiastic participants attended the training. In a joint evaluation of training in good internet use that is by Islamic values has provided knowledge and increased awareness for a mother without having to be anti-tech development.Keywords: healthy internet; Islamic value; family
