Superabsorbent polymers (SAPs) can absorb a large amount of water and find broad applications in various industries. There are many reports on the synthesis and structural modification techniques to improve the water absorption property of SAPs. However, we see few studies on the comparison and integration of these techniques. In this study, three structurally modified SAPs were synthesized and are evaluated for the effects of surface cross-linking, foaming, and the integration of the two modifications to improve the absorption rate and capacity of a conventional SAP. First, sodium polyacrylate-polyacrylamide was prepared as the base polymer by the aqueous solution polymerization method. Second, the base polymer was modified with surface cross-linking to enhance absorption, and a surface cross-linked SAP was obtained. Third, the base polymer was modified with foaming to obtain a foamed SAP. Lastly, the foamed SAP was modified further with surface cross-linking to obtain a foamed and surface cross-linked SAP. In comparison with the base polymer, the three synthesized SAPs were evaluated for their absorption performance. Results show that their absorption performance could be improved by the three modification processes. Specifically, the surface cross-linked SAP had the best absorption capacity under load, the foamed SAP had the highest absorption capacity of 1954 g/g, and the foamed plus surface cross-linked SAP had the fastest absorption rate with an initial swelling rate of Kis = 21.94.
On the voice development platform of Microsoft Speech SDK, speech recognition and speech synthesis modules based on command control mode is built in this paper. Ethernet-based remote voice control system of intelligent flexible manufacturing cell is developed for machine tools and industrial robots. This paper designs an intelligent voice control system based on LabVIEW development environment, which realizes the human-machine voice interaction of flexible manufacturing cell and remote voice control. Experimental studies have shown that intelligent voice control system has high speech recognition rate and system reliability in a relatively quiet environment.
This paper deals with the microstructures and properties of AISI H13(4Cr5MoSiV1), UHB QRO 90M and 4Cr3Mo2V steels, and then discusses the means of improving the service life of hot working die. The results show that increase of quenching temperature improves the resistance to thermal fatigue and tempering stability. Fine heat treatment process can produce fine dispersed carbides. Shot-peening and cryogenic treatments can raise the compressive stresses at surface as well as the resistance of tempering greatly. Under the condition that a compound layer is not engendered, ionnitriding process can restrain the initiation and propagation of fatigue crack and enhance the resistance to thermal fatigue. Vapor surface treatment provides the ways to protect and lubricate the die by the porous films oI Fe30~, which are formed on the die surface. Electrical spark surface strengthening process forms compounds with high melting point and high stability on the die surface and thus enhances the properties of die's resistance to oxidation efficaciously. Besides, QRO 90M and 4Cr3Mo2V steels, because of the superiority in designing of composition, have better tempering stability and softening resistance than 4CrSMoSiV1 steel.
In recent years, the rapid development of industrial computer technology has provided the foundation for manufacturing automation and informatization. Intelligent Flexible Manufacturing Cell is being integrated with more complicated additional functions to realize the cooperation among CNC machines or between CNC machine and robot. How to detect the systems status rapidly and timely becomes one of the most concerned problems. This paper proposes a remote monitoring system for Intelligent Flexible Manufacturing Cell, designs the remote monitoring platform, determines the communication systems network structure, and establishes the database and software of monitoring system. The result shows that the system obtains a good result in practical application.
