HistoryA 12-year-old sexually intact male Labrador Retriever was evaluated at the Michigan State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital because of a 2-week history of left unilateral nasal discharge (varying from mucopurulent discharge to epistaxis) that was unresponsive to treatment with sulfonamide-based antimicrobials. The dog had an episode of hematuria that resolved with antimicrobial treatment approximately 1.5 years earlier.
