Fronl a trafHc safety point of − vie 、 、 , there is an urgent nee (l for irltel ] igenし 七 ires equipped w 瓦h strain sensers as a warning system 「 or road conditions and f ()r 叩 timized braking colltl ' ol on pQ 〔 〕 r road surfaces . HQwever , since a conventional f〔,il strain gage has high stiffness . it causes し he analyzed region to behave unnaturally . The present study proposes a nove [rubber − based strain sensor fabrlcated using PhotQlithography . Thc rubber base has the sarne mcch 己 nical prvperties as the 巳 ire surface ; し hercby thc sensor does n 〔 〕t interfere with the tire deformati (m and can accuratcly monitor the behavior of the tire. Thisinvestigationdetails the design and manvfacture of the rubbcr based sensQr . For veri 丘cation , the sensor was attachecl to a beam specimen and found to have a latigue life of Over 106 and a measurable strain range up to 14% , The sens ') r was applied to a coln [ nercially availab ] e automobile tire and fQund to successfully measure the strain of the tire.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
