Laboratory triaxial compression tests were carried out to investigate the mechanical behavior of dense sand and geogrid-reinforced granular soils. The tested sand having its mean particle size (D50) equal to 0.6 mm was adopted. Three geogrids with different longitudinal and transverse nominal strengths were used. The dimensions of the cylindrical soil specimen were 70 mm (diameter) × 160 mm (height). The relative density was equal to 70% for all tests. The reinforced sand specimens with one or two geogrid layers were sheared under effective confining pressures (σ′3) equal to 50 kPa. The test results of unreinforced sand indicate the general stress-strain behavior of dense sand when sheared, whereas the deviatoric stress reaches its peak value, after which it gradually decreases to ultimate value (σ1 - σ3)ult. The difference of effective confining pressure indicates that the peak of deviatoric stress Δσd = (σ1 - σ3) increases with the increase in effective confining pressure (σ′3), while the peak principal stress ratio (σ′1/σ′3) decreases with the increase (σ′3). The friction angle (ϕ′)and cohesion (c′), defined by analytical and graphical methods for unreinforced sand. Geogrid as reinforcement increasing peak shear strength. The increasing peak shear strength is more pronounced with a higher number of geogrid and the geogrid with higher stiffness. Increased in confining stress inside reinforced soil mass (Δσ3R) can be interpreted by cohesive reinforced soil (CR).
The flood disaster that occurred in Pekalongan district in February 2021 was caused by the high intensity of rain for one week with rainfall >50 mm/day and the ebb and flow of sea water due to tides reaching 0.9-1.1 meters. Other problems due to flooding in Pekalongan district are change in land use, land subsidence, waste, erosion-sedimentation, as well as operation and maintenance factors. Losses due to floods cause material and building losses and traffic conditions are paralyzed. The method used in this research is primary and secondary data collection, descriptive qualitative data processing by describing understanding, research approach with field observations. Flood handling that has been carried out is by adding an emergency sliding door to the drainage, procuring a mobile water pump with a capacity of 250 liters/second, a CCSP (Corrugated Concrete Sheet Pile) embankment, rehabilitation of the Bremi River floodgate, construction of a Mrican pump house with a capacity of 8×2 m3/second, and construction of a 2,200 meter long Silempeng earthen embankment. The emergency handling that was carried out during the floods of February 2021 was the opening of the Long Storage Silempeng-Sengkarang and the preparation of sandbags and large sacks for emergency handling.
Modernisasi irigasi didefinisikan sebagai suatu upaya untuk menciptakan suatu pengelolaan irigasi secara efisien, efektif dan berkelanjutan berdasarkan pada lima pilar modernisasi irigasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis serta memberikan rekomendasi perencanaan modernisasi irigasi di Daerah Irigasi Padurekso. Survey kondisi eksisiting, investigasi geoteknik, analisis hidrologi dan perhitungan hidrolika dilakukan dalam penelitian ini. Permasalahan utama di D.I Padurekso yaitu distribusi debit air yang tidak merata walaupun debit andalan mencukupi, hal tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti operasional bangunan bagi sadap yang tidak maksimal, kerusakan atau hilangnya bangunan dan saluran tersier, adanya pemanfaatan air selain untuk pertanian, perkembangan perdagangan yang banyak menutupi jaringan irigasi, dan permukiman yang banyak memanfaatkan lahan pertanian. Sebagain besar jenis tanah merupakan lempung dan pasir serta terdapat sedimentasi yang tinggi. Kebutuhan air di D.I Padurekso untuk saluran sawah 0,78 l/dt.ha, tersier 0,94 l/dt/ha, sekunder 1,08 l/dt/ha, primer 1,19 l/dt/ha dan kolam ikan 0,33 l/dt/ha. Pola tanam yang direncanakan adalah jenis padi – padi – palawija dengan awal tanam pada bulan Oktober. Perencanaan infrastruktur direncanakan untuk menanganai permasalahan di D.I Padurekso. Keberhasilan suatu proyek menuntut adanya pelaksanaan manajemen secara baik. Pelaksanaan manageman yang baik dapat mengurangi resiko terjadinya keterlambatan dan pembengkakan biaya proyek. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut diperlukan analisis perhitungan waktu dan biaya pekerjaan galian tanah. Analisis tersebut berfungsi untuk mengetahui apakah dana sisa proyek masih mencukupi atau tidak, berapa besar perkiraan biaya untuk menyelesaikan proyek maupun berapa besar proyeksi keterlambatan pada akhir proyek. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahaui bahwa waktu pelaksanaan untuk menggali sedimentasi sungai Juwana yang diangkut sejauh 1 km membutuhkan waktu selama 276 hari kerja, sementara yang dibuang sejauh 3 km dan 5 km membutuhkan waktu selama 282 hari kerja. Alat berat yang dioperasikan memerlukan 23 unit excavator, untuk yang diangkut 1 km diperlukan 5 unit excavator dan 10 unit dump truk. Sementara untuk yang diangkut 3 km membutuhkan 8 unit excavator dan 23 unit dump truck. Untuk yang dibuang sejauh 5 km dibutuhkan 3 unit excavator dan 13 unit dump truk. Terdapat perbedaan anggaran yang dihasilkan dari analisis sewa dan anggaran yang diajukan dalam pelaksanaan proyek, RAB proyek Rp. 28.548.548.161 hasil analisis sewa 25.267.470.000 jadi terdapat surplus sebesar Rp. 3.281.078.161
The Covid-19 pandemic that has been going on since the end of 2019 has had a broad impact on various sectors, one of which is in the transportation sector. If this transportation is carried out using mass transportation or public transportation, then during the Covid-19 pandemic it will make it easier for the virus to spread if these public transport users do not comply with health protocols. Socialization regarding the use of mass transportation in the new normal era has been carried out in various locations and levels of society. In general, people still do not understand about this new normal era, so many do not comply with health protocols. This social service activity aims to provide insight to the community, especially groups of young high school students in using mass transportation in the new normal era. It is hoped that the teenagers can increase their awaraness of implementing health protocols so that they can reduce the spread of the virus that causes the Covid-19 pandemic.
