BiOCl/BiOI composites with a visible light response were prepared by a simple hydrothermal method. Even though both single BiOCl and BiOI show low photocatalytic activity, BiOCl/BiOI composites provide enhanced efficiency in decomposing organic compounds including Methyl Orange (MO) and Rhodamine B (RhB). Furthermore, the 20%BiOCl/BiOI composite shows the highest efficiency for decomposing MO, while the highest performance is observed for the degradation of RhB over 70%BiOCl/BiOI composite. A possible photocatalytic mechanism has been proposed based on the relative experiments and the band positions of BiOCl and BiOI.
Soil is a strong non-linear media and show obvious nonlinear under the small displacement of the foundation. Under the strong earthquake, the seismic performance of group pile foundation is closely related to the nonlinear force-displacement relationship of soil around the pile foundation and the elasto-plasticity o fpile. This paper introduces the nonlinear static pushover analysis of group pile foundation , summarizes the commonly used simulation method of soil around the pile foundation and compares the advantages and disadvantages of various simulation method.
This essay analyzed reasons of bending accidents for tower crane lifting boom in detail, and carried out mechanical analysis in different cases. The essay also mentioned the consequences caused by failure of welding, made reliable conclusion, and put forward measures to prevent such accidents.
Hypo/hyper-eutectic Al-Si bi-metal composite parts were prepared by the strain-induced melt activated (SIMA) thixo-forging. The interfaces of the bi-metal composites were observed using OM, and SEM. The tensile strength and hardness of the matrix alloys and the bonding strength at the interface were assessed by tensile test and micro-indent test. Results show that the eutectic structure joined together on the interface under the pressure. However, there are some defects such as holes and impurities were found near the interface. The tensile test samples were broken in Al-20 wt. % Si matrix. The bonding strengths at the interfaces were higher than 80 MPa. Results show that the hardness gradually increasing from 55 HV in Al-7 wt. % Si alloy to 180 HV in Al-20 wt. % Si alloy, which demonstrate the composite interface transited smoothly. The composite interface has an average hardness of 80 HV.
The developing process of cladding is always accompanied by the crack problem of cladding layer. This paper analyzes the defects position of arc cladding and expounds the causes of crack and furthermore puts forwards a solution which adds rare earth elements in the cladding powder . This will well effectively solves the problem of cladding layer cracking.
