O presente artigo se organiza para promoção de diálogo crítico sobre as demandas de pesquisas que emergem da aproximação entre técnicas e estudos da neurociência com a prática do marketing. Quando comparada as demais produções de conhecimento, o marketing e suas subcategorias são reconhecidas como novas discussões no campo científico – razão essa pelo pouco acesso aos instrumentos e legitimidade de posicionamento ético da área. Além disso, a não completa integração na neurociência faz com que o neuromarketing negligencie suas coordenadas de atenção ao humano. Sobre o cenário, a discussão propõe o empoderamento dos conceitos e práticas da bioética pela área, que ao se organizar sobre os filtros de respeito pelo indivíduo; beneficência e justiça, promove o desdobramento necessário aos comandos de pesquisa com o objeto de estudos. A integração trouxe para o artigo reflexões pertinentes sobre a postura do profissional da área de marketing e comunicação social, uma vez que é comum o uso de elementos persuasivos para produção de conteúdo textual, imagético e sensorial. Cabe repensar os cuidados éticos na propagação de informações, pois, entende-se que a investigação de dados sobre o humano para a produção de signos que servirão para o aumento de sua debilidade, pode desencadear processos vulnerabilidade.
