A total of 331 students sampled from lower-and upper-division psychology courses completed the Test of Integrated Process Skills (TIPS) questionnaire and an Ethics questionnaire. TIPS performance was directly related to students' advancement in the Psychology major whereas ethical reasoning was related to students' general academic advancement irrespective of major.

This article provides a description of the process of organizing and implementing National Depression Screening Day at a university campus as an undergraduate practicum activity.
Intersectional identities involving sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, and spirituality for sexual and gender minority (SGM) college students.• How such intersections may create unique challenges and tensions for SGM students who attend nonaffirming religious universities/colleges (NARUs).• Foundational religious tenets that inform subsequent behavioral policies toward SGM people at NARUs.• Rates (and risk) of mental health disparities, stigma, and discrimination toward SGM students who attend NARUs.• Implications and recommendations for the U.S. Department of Education, the American Psychological Association, and other professional accreditors in resolving conflicts between diversity/civil rights standards versus protecting religious freedoms.Many faith-based universities teach that sexual and gender minority (SGM) identities (e.g., LGBTQ) are sinful (i.e., morally wrong) and substandard to heterosexual and cisgender identities (Wolff & Himes, 2010). For clarity, we refer to these institutions more specifically as nonaffirming religious universities (NARUs). In this chapter, we provide an overview of how NARU policies and campus climates affect SGM students, and we describe the legal context that
