The printing industry has great social relevance, given its large number of companies, resources, and applications. The need of considering quality and customer satisfaction, lead companies to adopt measures to improve their production system. In this context, working conditions are fundamental for achieving qualitative and quantitative growth in the system. This article addresses this issue from the development of a case study in a printing shop, seeking to make an analysis of health conditions, safety, and work methods. For that, we used the Analysis and Problem-Solving Methodology together with the fundamentals of method engineering. From this, it was possible to carry out the identification of problems, develop analyzes to identify the main causes, and propose improvements for the problem solution. The results showed the need for improvements related to accidents, environmental and ergonomic risks. In addition, problems related to physical arrangement and equipment overload were also identified.
