Esse artigo buscou realizar um estudo sobre as principais manifestações cutâneas da Doença de Crohn (DC), caracterizada como uma doença inflamatória intestinal granulomatosa crônica que apresenta manifestações intestinais e extraintestinais. Dos pacientes que apresentam lesões extraintestinais, aproximadamente 10% apresentam sintomas cutâneos, sendo, portanto, a pele o local de maior incidência de tais manifestações que afetam a qualidade de vida dos pacientes. O diagnóstico da Doença de Crohn baseia-se nas características clínicas juntamente com os achados endoscópicos e radiológicos, somados à presença de manifestações extraintestinais (MEI). O objetivo deste estudo consiste em uma revisão de literatura que visa abordar as principais manifestações cutâneas na Doença de Crohn (Eritema Nodoso e Pioderma Gangrenoso), destacando a importância do diagnóstico precoce e do manejo terapêutico adequado para melhor qualidade de vida. Contudo, estudos mais amplos são necessários para demonstrar com minuciosidade a convergência entre lesões cutâneas e doença de Crohn, com o intuito de promover um tratamento multidisciplinar e prematuro visando o bem-estar integral dos pacientes.
Introdução: A miíase humana consiste em uma afecção clínica diversa e prevalente nas zonas tropicais, originada pela deposição de larvas de dípteros em tecidos e órgãos, que oferecem um aporte para a nutrição e desenvolvimento de formas parasitárias. Predominantemente, a literatura relata que a maior incidência de infecções ocorre na pele humana, sendo o agente etiológico mais comum o ‘‘Cochliomyia hominivorax’’. Apesar de gerar agravos à saúde, existem poucos estudos que descrevem eficazmente o impacto das complicações sistêmicas decorrentes de infestações por miíase, tornando a pauta passível de discussão. Objetivo: Estimar a incidência e comparar a tipologia de complicações após infestações de miíase. Material e métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica, sendo encontrados 39 artigos e selecionados 33. Buscou-se nas bases de dados de dados PUBMED, LILACS e Science Direct, entre o período de 2015 a 2020, utilizando-se os seguintes descritores indexados no DeCS: ''Miíase Humana’’ (Human Myasis), ‘’Complicações’’ (Complications) e ‘’Parasitose’’ (Parasitosis), associados ao operador booleano ‘’AND’’. Foram incluídos artigos originais, completos e gratuitos presentes na íntegra, sem restrição de idioma, excluindo-se textos com viés e duplicatas. Resultados: Observou-se que a maior prevalência estava relacionada à miíase dérmica e bucomaxilar, com menor frequência para casos de acometimento gastrointestinal e otológico. A idade avançada (acima de 51 anos) e o ambiente rural são fatores comuns para maior incidência da enfermidade. O bom prognóstico da doença está diretamente relacionado à remoção precoce das larvas, já que a permanência prolongada no organismo humano pode levar a complicações, dentre as quais acometimento palatino (3% dos casos) e danos palpebrais (5% dos casos). Além disso, o uso de ivermectina se mostrou eficaz na maioria dos casos, sendo observada uma maior distribuição dos óbitos no sexo masculino, com cerca de 63%. Conclusão: Mediante a perspectiva supracitada, percebe-se que o impacto das complicações sistêmicas devido a miíase demonstra ser um aspecto de relevância. Ressalta-se a importância do incentivo e detalhamento da epidemiologia e fisiopatologia dessa infecção. Portanto, medidas focalizadas baseadas no estudo podem ser idealizadas, visando-se a melhoria da qualidade de vida dos pacientes acometidos e vulneráveis.
