Resumo:A transição do perfil nutricional ocorrida nos últimos 30 anos trouxe consigo sérios problemas de saúde, dentre eles o sobrepeso, a obesidade e suas comorbidades. O estilo de vida da população está intimamente ligado a essa realidade. Objetivo com isso o objetivo do estudo foi avaliar o estilo de vida de indivíduos com sobrepeso e obesidade usuários de uma Policlínica Universitária. Para isso os participantes do estudo foram pesados e mensurado a estatura, para o cálculo do Índice Massa Corporal (IMC), aqueles apresentaram IMC entre 25-29,9 kg/m² indicando sobrepeso, e IMC ≥30 Kg/m² indicando obesidade responderam ao Questionário Escala do Perfil de Estilo de Vida Individual. Observou-se que 64,4% da população apresentou obesidade. Os indivíduos com IMC normal tem melhor estilo de vida do que indivíduos com sobrepeso e obesidade. Abstract:The transition of the nutritional profile occurred in the last 30 years brought with it serious health problems, among them being overweight, obesity and its comorbidities. The lifestyle of the population is closely linked to this reality, with the purpose of this study was to evaluate the lifestyle of overweight and obese individuals using a University Polyclinic. For this purpose, the study participants were weighed and measured for height, for the calculation of Body Mass Index (BMI), those presented BMI between 25-29.9 kg / m² indicating overweight, and BMI ≥30 kg / m² indicating obesity responded to Individual Lifestyle Profile Scale Questionnaire. 64.4% of the population presented obesity. Individuals with normal BMI have a better lifestyle than overweight and obese individuals. Second, among the components of lifestyle, nutritional aspects, physical activity and stress control were better among individuals with normal BMI in relation to overweight and obese subjects. It is worth emphasizing the importance of practicing regular physical exercises, and the adequate consumption of fruits, vegetables and vegetables to prevent the comorbidities that obesity brings with it.
