Objetivo: analisar o impacto da pandemia de COVID-19 no diagnóstico de câncer nos períodos de 2019 a 2021. Metodologia: trata-se de estudo transversal e descritivo, a coleta de dados foi realizada através do aplicativo TABNET do DATASUS no período de 2019, ano pré-pandemia e no biênio 2020-2021. Resultados: Foi observado redução no número de casos de diagnósticos de câncer nos anos de 2020 e 2021 quando comparados com o ano 2019. Quando ao estadiamento a maioria dos diagnósticos com campo preenchidos aconteceu no estágio III em todos os anos analisados. Em relação ao sítio primário da neoplasia, nos três anos analisados maior número de diagnósticos foi de câncer de mama, seguido de câncer de pele não melanoma e do câncer em tecido conjuntivo e outros tecidos moles em todos os anos. Em relação ao tempo entre o diagnóstico e o início do tratamento, nos anos de 2019 e 2020 a maioria ocorreu após 60 dias do diagnóstico. O ano de 2021 houve uma diminuição para o início do tratamento dos pacientes começando em até 30 dias do diagnóstico de câncer. Conclusão: Foi observado relação significativa entre a pandemia de COVID 19 e a redução de diagnósticos de canceres na Paraíba nos anos de 2020 e 2021.
