O presente estudo verificou os efeitos do exercício físico resistido no volume tumoral de camundongos C57BL/6 com melanoma cutâneo. Para o experimento foram utilizados 16 (dezesseis) camundongos fêmeas C57BL/6 no total, com idade de vida de 10-12 semanas, com cerca de 20 ± 5 gr de peso corporal. Os grupos foram divididos em 2 grupos: I. grupo controle (n=8) e II. grupo experimental (n=8). As avaliações do volume tumoral ocorreram 7 e 13 dias após a inoculação. O grupo experimental iniciou o exercício resistido 7 dias antes da inoculação, no dia da inoculação não ocorreu a sessão do exercício resistido. O grupo controle era mantido no alojamento de caixas autoclavável de polipropileno descritas anteriormente. O nível de confiança adotado em todas as análises será fixado em 95% (p < 0.05). Foi realizado o teste Shapiro-Wilk para verificação da normalidade. Após tal analise, foi realizado o teste Mann-Whitney. O crescimento do volume tumoral do grupo controle comparado o grupo experimental não teve diferença significativa (p=1,000). Importante salientar que o valor de delta apresentado no grupo controle (Δ = 521,71 +174,29) foi maior que a média do grupo experimental (Δ= 413,45 +440,29). O exercício resistido não promoveu retardo no crescimento tumoral.
No posicionamento sobre os modelos de treinamento de força para adultos saudáveis de 2002 e 2009, o Colégio Americano de Medicina do Esporte (ACSM, do inglês, American College of Sports Medicine) apresenta os principais avanços no conhecimento sobre o treinamento de força com pesos (ou treinamento resistido) realizado por adultos saudáveis, bem como indica modelos para estruturação de programas de treinamento resistido progressivo. O objetivo desta tradução fundamenta-se na necessidade de fazer com que essas informações alcancem aqueles profissionais do treinamento físico e esportivo. As diretrizes, tais como bases científicas, propõem modelos para manipular os elementos constituintes do processo de treinamento, formas de progressão, especificidade, variação, e periodização da carga. O documento traz informações necessárias para planejar a progressão dos componentes e das variáveis estruturais da carga de treinamento (frequência, nº. de repetições, seleção de exercícios, velocidade de execução, intervalo de recuperação). Essas diretrizes e recomendações poderão auxiliar o processo de planejamento e individualização de programas de treinamento de força para indivíduos iniciantes, intermediários e avançados. Em adição, compreende-se que o profissional deve avaliar e produzir um programa de treinamento resistido com objetivos de proporcionar saúde, condicionamento e otimizar o desenvolvimento da força muscular, enquanto evita lesões decorrentes ou agravadas pelo processo de treinamento.
RESUMO: Objetivo: o objetivo deste estudo é avaliar o efeito de diferentes formatos de treino resistido na força muscular em camundongo C57BL/6 caquexia associado ao melanoma cutâneo. Material e métodos: Os camundongos foram divididos em 2 grupos: I. grupo treino q (n=8) e II. grupo treino 2 (n=8). A primeira avaliação da força muscular transcorreu 7 dias antes da inoculação, já a segunda 15 dias após a inoculação. O treino 2 ocorreu após todos os animais estarem com quadro de caquexia, todos animais foram diagnosticados com caquexia no décimo dia após inoculação. Resultados: Os resultados obtidos expostos na tabela 01, são da primeira e segunda avaliação da força absoluta e força relativa, cada uma possuindo as avaliações antes da inoculação e após o diagnóstico da caquexia. Esse procedimento sendo efetuado com os membros dianteiros dos camundongos C57BL/6, contendo um n=8 tanto no grupo do treino 1 anterior a inoculação como no grupo de treino 2 após o diagnóstico da caquexia. Realizando a análise inferencial, com base no valor de delta, na variável da força absoluta, mediante ao valor do delta de 0,751 esse excedendo o nível de confiança do p > 0.05 a diferença constando assim desfavorável. O mesmo acontece com a variável da força relativa alcançando um p = 0,702. Conclusão: As propostas de treino não provocaram melhora na força muscular nos camundongo C57BL/6 com caquexia associado ao melanoma cutâneo. Os resultados desse estudo, evidência a necessidade de maiores pesquisas averiguando a questão do propostas de exercício resistido na melhora da força tanto absoluta como relativa em questões do câncer relacionado a caquexia.
