Ethylene polymerization with carrier-supported organometallic compounds. IT'. O n the deactivation of the catalyst tetrabenzyl zirconium-y-aluminaInterruption of the monomer feed during the polymerization of ethylene with catalysts produced by reaction of tetrabenzylzireonium with y-alumina shows that deactivation of the catalyst is not caused by the polyethylene being formed. Catalysts obtained from alumina with different thermal pretreatment and, therefore, different contents of hydroxyl groups o n the surface show different deactivation rate.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
