Objetivos: Nos planteamos dos objetivos: por un lado, analizar la eficacia y eficiencia de las empresas, el objeto social de las cuales es la prestación de servicios a la tercera edad. Por otro, estudiar si la promulgación de la Ley 39/2006 ha supuesto un cambio en la rentabilidad de las empresas. Diseño/metodología/enfoque: Estudiamos el comportamiento contable de las empresas de más de 250 trabajadores, a lo largo de los ejercicios 2004-2011 obtenidos a través de la base de datos SABI y AMADEUS. Las variables analizadas han sido la tasa de margen operativo (TMO) y la tasa del ratio de rotación (TRA) de activos. Resultados: El análisis de la evolución del resultado de TMO permite concluir que, en los subsectores analizados, las empresas españolas no son rentables. Las conclusiones no son las mismas si la variable analizada es la TRA. Se detecta un cambio en el comportamiento de las empresas analizadas a partir del año 2007. Este cambio es estadísticamente significativo en el caso de la TMO, pero no lo es en el caso de la TRA. Originalidad/valor añadido: Los subsectores analizados han sido poco estudiados en España. Conocer la evolución de su comportamiento permitirá mejorar la competitividad de las empresas.
ResumenObjeto: La realización de prácticas en empresa (PE) está considerada como un elemento que garantiza la conexión entre la universidad y el mundo socioeconómico (empresas) donde ambos actores llevan a cabo sus actividades. El objetivo del presente trabajo es triple. Por un lado, indagamos en el rol que tienen las PE en el proceso de profesionalización del futuro graduado. Por otro, enfatizar en el papel que tienen las TIC's como motor para garantizar y facilitar la creación de una red de comunicación entre: la empresa, universidad y el estudiante. Por último, reflexionar y analizar aquellos aspectos que deben mejorarse y la medida en que la aplicación de las TIC's pueden ayudar en este cometido.Diseño/metodología/enfoque: La metodología utilizada es la aplicación del Método del Caso. Esta metodología es la que mejor garantiza la consecución de los objetivos que nos hemos propuesto.
Aportaciones y resultados:Se observa que un 67% de las empresas en las que nuestros estudiantes han hecho PE contemplan la posibilidad de contratación. Un 49% de las empresas en los que nuestros estudiantes han realizado PE han fomentado la -577-
ResumenObjeto: Analizar y estudiar si las políticas sociales de bienestar repercuten en la eficacia y eficiencia de las empresas que prestan servicios a las personas con dependencia (Código CNAE 87 y 88).Diseño/metodología/enfoque: Para la realización del estudio se han comparado las empresas de los sectores que dan servicios en países que presentan pautas diferentes a la hora de aplicar determinadas políticas sociales. En concreto se han comparado las empresas que actúan en España, Alemania, Inglaterra y los Países Bajos. Los datos se han obtenido a partir de la base de datos AMADEUS. Se ha tomado como período de referencia el 2008-2012. Las variables utilizadas han sido la tasa de margen operativo (TMO) y la tasa de rotación de activos (TRA).
Aportaciones y resultados:De los resultados obtenidos no se ha podido establecer una relación estadísticamente significativa entre la eficacia y eficiencia de las empresas que prestan servicios a personas con dependencia y las políticas sociales desarrolladas desde los gobiernos.Originalidad / Valor añadido: : Hasta el presente existen pocos estudios sobre el comportamiento financiero de las empresas que prestan servicios a la tercera edad. El desarrollo empresarial de estas actividades implica un crecimiento de la actividad económica que compensa los costes que comporta el crecimiento de la población.
