This study aims to describe the mathematical creative thinking skills of SMP Negeri 1 Dungaliyo students on triangle material using descriptive methods. The subjects of this study were the seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Dungaliyo in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year, as many as 27 students. The instrument used in this study was a test to obtain data on mathematical creative thinking skills and interviews to complement and strengthen the information derived from giving tests on triangle material that had been empirically validated. To see students' mathematical creative thinking skills, 4 indicators are used, namely 1). Smoothness (fluency); 2) Dexterity (flexibility); 3). Authenticity (authenticity); 4). Details (description). The data analysis technique used in this research is percentage analysis. Based on the data obtained for indicators of skill (fluency) of 50.93%, flexibility (flexibility) of 46.14%, originality of 33.33%, and details (elaboration).
Persentase jumlah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika dengan tingkat disposisi matematis yang tinggi, sedang dan rendah berturut-turut adalah 14,89%, 68,09% dan 17,02%.Mathematical disposition is an affective aspect that needs to be developed and improved during lectures because mathematical disposition can support learning success in attending lectures. This study aims to describe the mathematical disposition of Mathematics Education students in the Calculus 1 course at the State University of Gorontalo. The subjects of this study were students of mathematics education, amounting to 47 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire, which is accompanied by participatory observation. To measure the mathematical disposition of mathematics education students in the calculus 1 course, it can be seen from 6 indicators, which are: (1) Confidence; (2) Persistence and Perseverance; (3) Flexible; (4) Interests and Curiosities; (5) Reflection; (6) Appreciation. Data were analyzed quantitatively in the form of percentages. The results showed that in general the average mathematical disposition of students was 69.57%, namely in the medium category. The percentages of students in the mathematics education study program who have high, medium, and low levels of mathematical disposition are 14.89%, 68.09%, and 17.02%, respectively.
Mathematical communication skills are very important, and interactive learning media is a good means to improve students. Therefore, this study aims to describe the design of interactive online learning media, which helps to improve mathematical communication skills. This is a qualitative descriptive study. The data collection instrument used observation, as well as interview guidelines, and were analyzed using a qualitative technique. This study produced interactive instructional media designs to help improve mathematical abilities. The results showed that interactive learning media design is in accordance with students' characteristics, the curriculum, and the project-based learning model. The design was further declared valid, and had the potential to improve mathematical communication skills. Therefore, the study contribution was the integration of mathematical communication skills in interactive online learning media on geometry transformation material.

Nadaraya-Watson Estimator with kernel approach depends on two-parameter, those are kernel function and bandwidth choice. However, between the two of them, bandwidth choice gave a huge impact on the result of the estimation. By minimizing the value of Mean Square Error (MSE), Cross-Validation (CV) and Generalized Cross-Validation (GCV) gave the optimal bandwidth value. In this research, corn production was considered as the dependent variable, while the planted area, harvested area, and the fertilizer as the independent variable. The result of this research showed that Nadaraya-Watson Estimator with Generalized Cross-Validation gives a better corn production estimation with optimal bandwidth value 742392,2, with and with MSE 202583,9.

Keywords: kernel, estimator Nadaraya-Watson, cross validation, generalized cross validation.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
