Objetivos- Validar conteúdo e aparência de uma tecnologia educacional com orientações para pacientes em cuidados paliativos oncológicos domiciliares. Materiais e método- Estudo metodológico com abordagem quantitativa, para validação de conteúdo e aparência, com envio de e-mail contendo um link de acesso aos instrumentos no Google Forms, um link para a carta de aceite e uma versão da tecnologia educacional em PDF, para juízes especialistas da área da saúde e juízes de outras áreas, que aceitaram o convite prévio para participação na pesquisa. Resultados e discussão- Participaram cinco juízes-especialistas da área da saúde e três de outras áreas. Com o instrumento dos juízes da área da saúde obteve-se Índice de Validade do Conteúdo Global de 0,80. Com o instrumento dos juízes de outras áreas obteve-se escore SAM entre 24 e 26 pontos. Com base nas sugestões chegou-se a versão final da tecnologia educacional que ficou com 51 páginas contendo 06 tópicos. Conclusão- A cartilha foi considerada adequada, segundo juízes especialistas da área da saúde e de outras áreas, para mediar ações educativas com pacientes em cuidados paliativos oncológicos em domicílio.
