The aim of the study is to describe the structure, composition, constituents, properties and interaction of lexical units belonging to the lexico-semantic field (LSF) “Food” in E. Hemingway’s work “A Moveable Feast”, using the example of the micro-field “Wines”. The authors selected 1014 lexical units with the semantics of food from this work. The study is novel in that it is the first to structure vocabulary with the semantics of food on the basis of the text of E. Hemingway’s work “A Moveable Feast”; the analysis is carried out from the perspective of a field approach, which contributes to the enrichment of special terminology on the topic of food in English. As a result, the LSF “Food” has been constructed, this LSF consists of 2 large micro-fields “Foods” and “Drinks”. The micro-field “Foods” includes 2 micro-fields: “Dishes” and “Establishments of catering and recreation”. 22 micro-fields have been identified within the micro-field “Dishes” and 10 micro-fields have been identified within the micro-field “Establishments of catering and recreation”. The micro-field “Wines” has been considered in more detail, the distinctive features underlying the division of lexical units within a micro-field have been presented, the core, periphery and the types of connections between lexemes have been described.

М. Ремарка "Der schwarze Obelisk" Куренкова Т. В.
The aim of the study is to describe the structure, composition and interaction of the lexical units of the lexical-semantic field “Food” in Ernest Hemingway’s novel “The Sun Also Rises” using the example of the microfield “Alcoholic drinks of plant origin”. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that field studies of vocabulary with the semantics of food by the material of E. Hemingway’s work “The Sun Also Rises” are carried out for the first time. As a result, on the basis of pre-selected vocabulary, the lexical-semantic field “Food” was built in Ernest Hemingway’s novel “The Sun Also Rises”. The microfield “Alcoholic drinks of plant origin” was examined more closely, the place of this microfield in the structure of the lexical-semantic field “Food” was indicated, and differential features were identified, on the basis of which lexical units can be divided within the microfield.
