Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain quasi eksperiment yang berbentuk pretest-postest control group design. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui; (i) perbedaan motivasi belajar kimia peserta didik yang dibelajarkan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Macromedia Flash 8 pada model pembelajaran kooperatif melalui pendekatan saintifik dengan peserta didik yang dibelajarkan tanpa menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Macromedia Flash 8 di kelas X SMAK Makassar pada materi pokok laju reaksi; (ii) perbedaan hasil belajar kimia peserta didik yang dibelajarkan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Macromedia Flash 8 pada model pembelajaran kooperatif melalui pendekatan saintifik dengan peserta didik yang dibelajarkan tanpa menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Macromedia Flash 8 di kelas X SMAK Makassar pada materi pokok laju reaksi. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis uji prasyarat yang terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Pengujian hipotesis dihitung menggunakan program SPSS 22 dengan analisis One-way Anova dengan kriteria pengujian: terima H1 jika signifikansi (p) yang diperoleh lebih besar dari α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; (i) ada perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang dibelajarkan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Macromedia Flash 8 pada model pembelajaran kooperatif melalui pendekatan saintifik dengan peserta didik yang dibelajarkan tanpa menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Macromedia Flash 8 di kelas X SMAK Makassar pada materi pokok laju reaksi; (ii) ada perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik yang dibelajarkan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Macromedia Flash 8 pada model pembelajaran kooperatif melalui pendekatan saintifik dengan peserta didik yang dibelajarkan tanpa menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Macromedia Flash 8 di kelas X SMAK Makassar pada materi pokok laju reaksi. This research aims to understand the effect of the mind mapping technique and prior knowledge in guided inquiry learning model about critical thinking ability of X grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Pitu Riawa on oxidationreduction reaction topic. The type of research is quasiexperiment by using a 2x3 factorial design. The research population was students in class X the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year consists of five classes with the number learning of learners as much as 136 students. Sampling was done by simple random sampling, and a selected category is class XA and XB. The results of the analysis of descriptive statistics indicate that the mean score of critical thinking ability students who are taught mind mapping and non-mind mapping technique is 79.76 (SD = 8.61) and 75.28 (SD = 8.74). On the mean score of critical thinking ability of learners with the capability of a high, medium, and low separately are 89.12 (SD = 5.79); 79.34 (SD = 5.49); and 68.23 (SD = 5.30). Hypothesis testing is done using Two Way ANOVA Analysis. The results indicated that (1) There is an effect of mind mapping technique on guided inquiry learning model toward the critical thinking ability of students on oxidation-reduction reaction topic. (2) There is an effect of prior knowledge on guided inquiry learning model toward critical thinking ability of students in class X SMA Negeri 1 Pitu Riawa on oxidation-reduction reaction topic. (3) There is no interaction between the mind mapping model and prior knowledge on guided inquiry learning model in affected the critical thinking ability of students. The average value of critical thinking skills of students taught using mind mapping techniques is higher than not using mind mapping techniques. Tukey HSD test result showed a student who has high, medium, and low prior knowledge has the critical thinking ability are different.
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan LKPD terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 6 Maros materi pokok hidrolisis garam. Desain penelitian Pretest Treatment Postest Design. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara random kelas dan terpilih kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas A dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas B. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji independent sample T-Test. Hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh rata-rata nilai keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar belajar kelas A adalah 72,76 dan kelas B adalah 56,90 dengan standar deviasi masing-masing 15,46 dan 18,56. Data rata-rata nilai N-gain indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kelas A sebesar 0,625 berada dalam kategori sedang dan N-gain hasil belajar sebesar 0,70 berada dalam kategori tinggi. Sedangkan kelas B sebesar 0.454 dan 0,52 berada dalam kategori sedang. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan uji-t pada taraf signifikan, α = 0,05 diperoleh nilai thitung3,22> ttabel 2,02 dan signifikansi (0,003 < 0,05), menunjukkan hipotesis diterima. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan LKPD terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 6 Maros materi pokok hidrolisis garam. ABSTRACTThe research was quasi experiment which aims at examining the influence of utilizing LKPD on critical thinking skills and learning outcomeof student XI IPA at SMAN 6 in Maros on salt hydrolysis subject material. The research design was pretest treatmeant posttest. Samples were selected by employing random sampling and obtained student XI IPA 1 as A class and XI IPA 3 as B class. Data were analyzed by employing descriptive analysis and independent sample t-test. The result of descriptive analysis obtained the mean score of critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of A class was 72,76 and the B class was 56,90 with standard of deviation 15, 46 and 18,56 respectively. The data of the mean score of N-gain of critical thinking skills indictor in A class was 0,625 which was in moderate category and N-gain of learning outcomes was 0,70 which was in high category; whereas, the B class was 0,454 and 0,52 which was in moderate category. The result of hypothesis test with t-test at the level of significance, = 0,05 obtained tcount 3,22 >ttable 2,02 and significance (0,003 < 0,05), indicated that the hypothesis was accepted. The conclusion that is influence of utilizing LKPD on critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of student XI IPA ata SMA Negeri in Maros on salt hydrolysis subject material. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media animasi pada model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar kimia peserta didik kelas X MIA SMAN 1 Gowa pada materi pokok reaksi oksidasi dan reduksi. Populasi dari penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas X SMAN 1 Gowa yang terdiri dari 6 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar peserta didik yang terdiri atas 20 butir soal pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Data deskripsi hasil belajar diperoleh rata-rata kelompok eksperimen 77,97 dan kelompok kontrol 74,55. Pengujian hipotesis dengan uji Mann-whitney menghasilkan Zhitung= 1,91 dan Ztabel = 1,64, sehingga Zhitung > Ztabel dengan = 0,05 dan dk=66. Ada pengaruh penggunaan media animasi pada model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar kimia peserta didik kelas X MIA SMAN 1 Gowa pada materi pokok reaksi oksidasi dan reduksi.
