The main objective of this research was to determine the impact of the Six Sigma methodology in improving quality control in industrial companies, between the years 2010-2020, which includes an exhaustive, protocolized, systematic and explicit evaluation of the literature. of articles published in scientific journals. In order to collect information related to the research top ic, various digital databases were consulted, such as: EBSCO, Google Academic, Redalyc, Scielo, Elsevier, Dialnet, Repositories of different universities, among others. Within these, up to 86 scientific articles were found in total, and 21 were selected based on the established inclusion and exclusion criteria (year of publication, language, type of study, relationship with the central research topic, among others). Only scientific articles that contain as variables and keywords: "Six / Six Sigma" and "Quality" are also considered, focused on industrial companies. It is concluded that the application of this tool in organizations allows eliminating everything that does not add value to the product, reduces the amount of defective, no nconforming, and other products. Generating as a consequence the improvement of the quality of services and / or products.
