A new RP-HPLC method was developed and validated for the estimation of aceclofenac and thiocolchicoside in their tablet dosage form. The chromatographic separation was carried out by using Agilent Zorbax column (150 × 4.6mm, 5µm). The mobile phase containing the combination of methanol and 0.1% ortho phosphoric acid of 75:25 (v/v) ratios. In this method the flow rate used is 1 min/ml for the separation at the detection wavelength of 275 nm. The proposed method was validated according to the ICH guidelines. The method was linear (R 2 >0.99), precise (RSD < 2.0%), accurate, simple, sensitive and robust. This method can be successfully used for the routine pharmaceutical analysis.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
