Pulsed laser photolysis with resonance fluorescence monitoring of OH radicals was applied at T = 300 ± 2 K to obtain the rate constants of k 1 = (3.38 ± 0.60)x10 -12 , k 2 = (2.52 ± 0.44)x10 -13 and k 3 = (1.06 ± 0.30)x10 -13 cm 3 molecule -1 s -1 with 2σ precision given for the overall reactions OH + CH 3 CH 2 OH (1), OH + CF 2 HCH 2 OH (2) and OH + CF 3 CH 2 OH (3), respectively. k 2 is the first direct kinetic data for the reaction of OH radicals with CF 2 HCH 2 OH reported in the literature.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
