We present a quark-diquark model for the nucleons where the light front wave functions are constructed from the soft-wall AdS/QCD prediction. The model is consistent with quark counting rule and Drell-Yan-West relation. The scale evolution of unpolarized PDF of proton is simulated by making the parameters in the PDF scale dependent. The evolution of the DPFs are reproduced for a wide range of evolution scale. Helicity and transversity distributions for the proton predicted in this model agree with phenomenological fits. The axial and tensor charges are also shown to agree with the experimental data. The model can be used to evaluate distributions like GPDS, TMDs etc. and their scale evolutions.
We present all the leading twist T-even TMDs in the light-front quark diquark model(LFQDM) and study the relations among them. The model contains both the scalar and vector diquark with the light front wave functions modeled from the soft-wall AdS/QCD prediction. The x − p 2 ⊥ factorization used in phenomenological extraction for TMDs is observed in this model. We present the results for the quark densities and the transverse shape of proton. The shape of the transversely polarized proton is shown to be non-spherical for nonzero transverse momentum. The scale evolution of both integrated and unintegrated TMDs are also presented in this paper.
We investigate the Wigner distributions for u and d quarks in a light front quark-diquark model of a proton to unravel the spatial and spin structure. The light-front wave functions are modeled from the soft-wall AdS/QCD prediction. We consider the contributions from both the scalar and the axial vector diquarks. The Wigner distributions for unpolarized, longitudinally polarized and transversely polarized proton are presented in transverse momentum plane as well as in transverse impact parameter plane. The Wigner distributions satisfy a Soffer bound type inequality. We also evaluate all the leading twist GTMDs and show their scale evolution. The spin-spin correlations between the quark and the proton are investigated.
The Wigner distributions for u and d quarks in a proton are calculated using the light front wave functions (LFWFs) of the scalar quark-diquark model for nucleon constructed from the soft-wall AdS/QCD correspondence. We present a detail study of the quark orbital angular momentum(OAM) and its correlation with quark spin and proton spin. The quark density distributions, considering the different polarizations of quarks and proton, in transverse momentum plane as well as in transverse impact parameter plane are presented for both u and d quarks.
Abstract:We present the results of T-even TMDs in a light front quark-diquark model of nucleons with the wave functions constructed from the soft-wall AdS/QCD prediction. The relations amongst TMDs are discussed. The p 2 ⊥ dependence of the TMDs are compared with the t-dependence of the GPDs and the relation between the respective dependencies are found.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
