Objetivo: analisar os significados que os profissionais das equipes em saúde atribuem à educação permanente (EPS) e práticas colaborativas (PIC), em uma unidade de saúde, localizado no Município da Amazônia Ocidental. Método: trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória de abordagem qualitativa, realizada de Maio à Julho de 2021. Os dados foram coletados e analisados, através da análise de conteúdo de Bardin, utilizando o software MaxQDA Analytics Pro. Também foi feito observação da realidade no local do estudo. Resultados: a pesquisa foi composta por 14 profissionais, organizados em três categorias, entre elas, as percepções que aproximam ou se distanciam do conceito de educação permanente e práticas colaborativas interprofissionais, que mostra a confusão e o distanciamento acerca dos termos, dificuldades para o desenvolvimento, em que a principal mencionada foi a falta de estrutura e a última categoria potencialidades e facilidades, elencou-se a formação em saúde e a comunicação da equipe, entre outros. Conclusão: visualiza-se os significados que os profissionais atribuem tanto para educação permanente, quanto para práticas colaborativas e em grande parte, estes distanciam-se do seu conceito efetivo, a educação permanente ainda é confundida com a educação continuada, e os profissionais possuem pouca aproximação sobre as práticas colaborativas. Percebe-se que muito precisa-se avançar para um processo de trabalho efetivo, e ter como base o trabalho em equipe e uma qualificação na assistência.
