The article is devoted to the theoretical substantiation and development of methodological approaches and practical recommendations for modeling the assessment of the financial stability of a service sector enterprise. To assess the financial condition of the hotel industry, a visual interpretation of the neural network, a model of self-organizing Kohonen map, was used. It is proven that by the method of Kohonen maps for each service provided by the hotel industry, in a certain period of activity, it is possible to establish certain objective limitations of structural characteristics that will prevent the transition to problem clusters or ensure the transition to better ones. The authors propose an economic and mathematical model of the process of assessing financial stability by calculating the integral indicator of financial stability of the service sector. The types of control maps for each of the coefficients that have a significant impact on the assessment of the financial stability of the enterprise in the service sector were identified. Control maps were constructed for each coefficient, which are part of the integrated indicator of financial stability, and their analysis was carried out for the presence of special reasons for the variability of the process of financial stability assessment. The concept of modeling a system for assessing the financial stability of service enterprises is developed in the article, which is based on the collection of financial data, a comprehensive analysis of factors influencing the financial condition, a study of the controllability of the process of assessing financial stability, building a model of an integral indicator of financial stability, and its program implementation.
Very interesting and relevant in today's economic situation is the study of the mutual influence of two essential factors promoting economic development, such as innovation and foreign economic activity, so the study is devoted to developing recommendations for improving the innovative development of the foreign economic activity. The authors investigated the interpretation of the essence of the concept of "foreign economic activity" by different researchers, features of foreign economic activity of enterprises, the main features of the modern system of foreign economic activity and analysed innovations as a factor contributing to foreign economic activity. The study allowed to develop recommendations for improving the innovative development of foreign economic activity of the enterprise, namely the creation of a department of foreign economic activity of the enterprise, which includes a visual representation and structure, as well as a detailed description of the main criteria. The authors proposed a method for determining the quality of planned work of the department of foreign economic activity and an algorithm for selecting areas of innovative development.
The activation of the startup movement is one of the fundamental preconditions for the transition from innovation to a startup ecosystem, the development of which is impossible without special innovation structures that help startups promote innovative products on the market. The purpose of this article is to modernize the process of promoting innovative products on the market in the form of startups, taking into account the trends of the innovative development of the modern economy. The following methods are used in the article: situational and design approaches; methods of simulation and structural−functional modeling—to determine the potential market demand for innovative products and plan the process of their promotion to the market; and BPMN notation—to formalize the integration links between actors in the process of promoting innovative products on the market. As a result, a scheme for assessing the economic efficiency of innovative product market promotion process management was developed that sorts out several indicators at each stage of the innovation process, which allows one to increase the clarity and completeness of the promotion process management while reducing costs. The system of risk management of innovative products has been studied using the example of the promotion of the innovative startup Hideez Technology Ltd on the market in Europe and the USA. This has allowed the company to benefit economically from implementing the results, reaching USD 20,000. In conclusion, the sequence of actions for making management decisions during the implementation of the strategy for innovative product promotion process management was defined.
This article aims to assess the potential of using the components of the five-helix model in countries with different levels of business development in Industry 4.0 for the US, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, and Poland. We determined the stimulators and not stimulators of the company development interacting with the participants of the innovation system: "business," "society," "state," "science," and "environment." We empirically evaluated the company’s ability to use the potential of the five-helix model during the transition to Industry 4. These estimates, along with the development indicators of the five-fold spiral elements, were used to build a decision tree for choosing a practical scenario for business development and information transformation. It helped determine options for ensuring business efficiency, depending on the development of the five helix components and the company's ability to use their development potential.
