Various display devices has been increasing also using waste LCD glass in accordance with the used developed, because circumstances that are most landfill or incineration, are needed research on recycling measure of the using waste LCD glass. Therefore, in this study, to try to assess the basic mechanical properties of concrete mixed with using waste LCD glass micropowder through the room mixed test. According to the study results, the more replacement rate increases, the characteristics of the concrete showed a tendency to decrease slightly. However, according to the small value, it is expected to improve the advanced experimental values by refining the grain size of the materials used to be processed into spheres.
The steel box girder bridge has excellent applicability to curved bridges owing to its large torsional rigidity. In addition, because the weight of the segments is smaller than that of concrete bridges, it also has many applications for medium-range bridges. However, when a bridge with a span greater than 70 m is constructed, the height of the steel box girder increases, which is disadvantageous for the manufacture and transportation of girders and for bridge construction. Therefore, improvements in the construction methods are required to facilitate construction. Therefore, a structural system of a double composite box girder bridge with an upper slab and composite high-strength concrete at the lower flange of the support of continuous span was proposed, and the structural performance was verified by finite element analysis and a static loading test of an actual specimen. It was confirmed that such a structure minimizes the height of the girder of continuous support by optimizing the sectional efficiency and also improves usability.
Recently, the roll forming process is one of the most widely used processes for manufacturing automotive part. In this study, flower patterns of roll forming process were designed to manufacture an ultra high strength bumper beam using the finite element analysis. Three types of flower patterns such as the basic type, the rotation type and the split type were designed based on the constant arc length forming method using the design software, UBECO Profil. Finite element analysis was performed to evaluate the suitability of designed flower patterns in terms of the longitudinal strain and the bow defect.The analytical results show that the split type represents more uniform longitudinal strain distributions and a good dimensional accuracy than other types of flower patterns.
