From sub-shot noise photonic measurements in optocouplers we obtain the frequency characteristics of quantum noise reduction using [he relative noise difference method. We have shown that the RND method enables us to remove thc dependence of noiisc measurements on the noise and frequency response of the instrumentation amplifier. We have also attempted to derive the same frcquenlcy characteristics using a circuit-based mocllel incorporating photonic noise sources. There is gol,Jd agreement between measurement and modellinig, hence lending experimental support to the use of rlhe photonic noise model to other sub-shot noise optocoupler structures.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
