The paper presents an analysis of the possibility of growing remontant type raspberry varieties in an annual culture in the climate of the northern regions, which solves the problem of shoots overwintering, both in decorative gardening and industrial plantings. The first stage of research in the collection nursery in the experiment on five remontant raspberry varieties regarding the requirements for soil and climatic conditions, resistance to diseases and pests, growth characteris-tics and individual development allows us to assess the development features of remontant raspberry varieties in the conditions of the Komi Republic. The collection nursery of remontant forms of raspberries of the Institute of Agrobio-technologies of the Federal Research Centre, Komi Science Centre, Ural Branch, RAS, was founded in 2018 and is represented by 5 varieties: Ruby necklace; Firebird, Elegant, Orange miracle, Hercules (St.). The studies were carried out according to the provisions of the standard method of field experiment during the growing seasons of 2018-2019. Agrometeorolo-gical conditions in 2018 were favorable for raspberry plants, in contrast to 2019. The unfavorable bal-ance of heat and humidity in the growing season of 2019 caused the end of the development of remontant raspberries at the stage of vegetative growth (Hercules variety) or flowering phase (4 varieties). Variety Orange miracle in the condi-tions of the Komi Republic is more susceptible to the risks of developing mycoses and damage by shoot gall midge. According to the results of two years of research, the Ruby Necklace variety showed good results in the formation of a certain number of shoots, resistance to pests and diseases, and the general condition of plants.
The arcile descuites the features of the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Komi Republic, including based on the SWOT analysis of its agro-food sector. The study identifies the strengths and weaknesses of integration in the conditions of the Northern region, identifies opportunities and threats, formed the principles for the formation and functioning of a product cluster. The algorithm determining the priority directions of development of clusters in the Northern region, allows to deepen the system displays the development of agricultural production in rural areas and includes the following areas: analysis of the status and dynamics of development of agricultural production in the region; the allocation of typological groups; assessment of the influence of the main values of the factors on agricultural production; analysis of the development of processing industries; matrix analysis definition of priority directions of development of the cluster; the formation of potential product clusters.
In the Komi Republic, the set of climate-adapted varieties of berry crops is very limited. The assortment identified as a result of the study will be proposed for implementation in KFH, horticultural societies and household farms of the Republic of Komi. Of the berry crops bred in the republic, red raspberries (R. Idaeus L.) are of particular importance for the North, as a source of valuable food and medicinal substances. Its fruits contain sugars (up to 10%), organic acids (up to 2.5%), tannins and coloring substances, salts of iron, potassium, copper; pectin; vitamins of group B, PP, folic and ascorbic acids, carotene, sitosterol and other biologically active compounds. In recent years, interest has been revealed in repairing and photoneutral forms of raspberries, the fruits of which ripen after the fruiting of all berry crops traditional for the North and prolong the flow of fresh products. The object of study is a raspberry collector's nursery. Research methods - stationary experience, methods of statistical analysis of data. In 2018, the laying of a collection nursery of raspberry repair forms began: winter-resistant; with high yields and coarseness. Varieties with a complex of economically useful features are noted: - Ruby necklace variety in terms of sugar content (4.69%), dry substances (11.67%), high productivity (0.59 kg/pog. m), coarseness (average berry weight - 6.50 g), taste (tasting rating 5 points) and commercial and consumer qualities; - variety Firebird in terms of vitamin C content (57.02 mg%), good productivity (0.55 kg/pog. m), large fruit (average berry weight - 6.60 g), maximum berry weight (9.29 g), commercial and consumer qualities; - Hercules variety in vitamin C content (59.14 mg%), good productivity (0.56 kg/pog. m), coarseness (average berry weight - 6.92 g), maximum berry weight (9.00 g), commodity and consumer qualities.
The possibility of using remontant varieties adapted to the climate of the northern regions will allow solving the problem of overwintering raspberries, both in amateur and industrial plantings. Obtaining primary experimental data on the requirements for soil and climatic conditions, resistance to diseases and pests, growth characteristics and individual development in five remontant raspberry varieties is the first stage in the development of guidelines for the formation of remontant raspberry agrophytocenoses in the Komi Republic. In the standard variety Hercules, despite the good vegetative growth of shoots in both years, a massive transition of plants to the ripening of berries was not noted. According to the results of two years of research, the varieties Ruby Necklace and Elegant showed good results in the formation of a certain number of shoots, resistance to pests and diseases, and the general condition of plants at the end of flowering.
