Виявлено зв'язок хронічної рецидивуючої інфекції вірусів простого герпесу першого та другого типів зі статтю і віком хворих. Не спостерігається різниця в характері її клінічних проявів серед пацієнтів різної статі та різних вікових груп. Стан нервової системи впливає на вираження клінічних проявів, у тому числі офтальмологічного характеру, у хворих із рециди-вуючим перебігом простого герпесу.Ключові слова: простий герпес, клініка, рецидив. ВступПитання хронічної реактивованої інфекції ві-русів простого герпесу першого / другого типів (ВПГ 1/2) є актуальним як у фундаментальній, так і в практичній медицині [3,5]. За даними ВООЗ, захворювання, які спричинюють ВПГ, зай-мають 2-е місце після грипу та ГРВІ, як причина смерті від вірусних інфекцій [4,5, 7]. На сьогодні простежують тенденцію до неухильного зрос-тання у людській популяції захворюваності на гер-петичну інфекцію, чому сприяє все більше по-ширення набутої імуносупресії та природжених імунодефіцитів [10, 15]. Простий герпес є однією з найбільш поширених неконтрольованих інфекцій людини [9]. У світі приблизно 3,7 млрд. людей віком до 50 років (67 %) мають хворобу, яку спри-чинює ВПГ-1, a приблизно 417 млн. людей у віці 15-49 років (11 %) мають інфекцію, яку спричи-нює ВПГ-2 [5, 7]. У нашій країні статистичних даних щодо захворюваності на простий герпес немає, однак герпетична інфекція поширена пов-сюдно, на це вказують дані обстежень.Враховуючи різноманітність клінічних ознак перебігу захворювання, біологічні особливості збудника, їх здатність до поширення різними шля-хами, Європейське регіональне бюро ВООЗ включило герпетичну інфекцію до числа захво-рювань, що значною мірою визначають майбутнє інфекційної патології людини [5, 7].Спектр клінічних проявів герпетичної інфекції різноманітний [11, 13, 15]. Він залежить від лока-лізації патологічного процесу та його розпов-сюдженості, стану імунної системи тощо [4,5, 6]. Відомі різні клінічні форми герпетичної інфекції: ураження шкіри різноманітної локалізації, слизової ротової порожнини, статевих органів, очей, цент-ральної та периферичної нервової системи, а та-кож вісцеральні форми (пневмонія, гепатит, енце-фаліт тощо) [4, 9]. Найбільш клінічно розпов-сюдженими є прояви, що спостерігаються на шкі-рі та слизових оболонках. Більш тяжкі форми по-в'язані з ураженням очей, геніталій, внутрішніх органів та центральної нервової системи [2, 7, 8].У деяких пацієнтів можливі рецидиви герпе-тичної інфекції, основою патогенезу яких є сприятливі фактори: переохолодження або ж пе-регрів організму, загальні та простудні захворю-вання, раніше перенесені інфекційні хвороби, а також ті захворювання, які послаблюють клітин-ний і гуморальний імунітет [1, 6, 14]. Існування інфекції в організмі жінки або чоловіка є однією із серйозних причин безпліддя, яке вивчається і лікарями-практиками, і величезними науковими інсти-тутами в різних країнах: ведуться спостереження, ство-рюються спеціальні програми. Статистичні дані ВООЗ свідчать, що з проблемою безпліддя за весь репродук-тивний період життя стикається до 8 % подружніх пар у всьому світі [1][2][3].
