Data on eight morphological features of 29 Amur sleeper populations in water bodies of the acquired range of European Russia (50.0°-62.2°N) are presented and compared with 4 populations of the native range (43. 5-48.2°N). It has been found that the formation of a certain number of vertebrae in the abdominal, transitional, and caudal segments of the axial skeleton in population groups recognized in the study is related to similar temperature conditions in the water bodies.
