The properties of secondary minima with high or super deformations in Ni, Cu and Zn isotopes near stability are investigated in the relativistic mean-field theory. The stability of the secondary minima against proton and neutron emissions is revealed for these nuclei. The proton emission may possibly occur at secondary minima in Cu isotopes with Aഛ61 for the predicted large emission energy. A more possible candidate for proton emission is predicted to be 59 Zn due to its very large emission energy.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
