The specific heat is measured as a function of temperature for [Ni(H2O)6](ClO4)2. Two anomalies of specific heat are revealed, at (311.40 ± 0.93) K and (361.05 ± 0.01) K. The entropy changes associated with these anomalies have the values of (2.26 ± 0.15) cal/mol K and (6.02 ± 0.13) cal/mol K, respectively.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
