A 488x59O-element CCD imager for the 2/3" formaL employing three types of p-wells has been d.eveloped. and was found to exhibit very small smearing as welf as complete blooming suppression. For lO-percent vertical height illumination, the qmp27 qionrr rrns-73d.B of the illumination signal (55Onm). Furthermore this imager "*b+*-_"* employs n-n-p photod-iodes to red.uce the change of spectral response with the storage of signal charge.
Electromotiveforce measurements of the following galvanic cells were carried out using CaF2 solid electrolyte:From the emf and the standard free energy of formation of reference electrode, the sulfur pressure of the system Ni-S in the range of 20-47 mol%S and 801-1372K and of the system Co-S at 35 mol%S and 995-1322K was calculated. The results were compared with those by other investigaters.
