T. Baba, M. Irabu (Rubber Goods Inspection Association) NR stocks containing various kinds of vulcanizing agents were cured with Co-60 gamma radiation.Stresses at 100% and 300% were measured to observe the effect of additives on radiation cure. It was found that (1) radiation cure was less effective in the case of stocks with sulfur and sulfur-vulcanizing agents than in the case without them, (2) less effective in the case with GMF than in the case without it and (3) more effective in the case with Dicup than in the case without it.
