We have recently proposed the switching optimizer for the measurement-based optimization of an objective function with multivariable decision variables. However, the decision of the switching cycle is difficult for experimental data. This paper improves the measurement-based optimization of an objective function with multivariable decision variables by taking advantage of the assumption that the sum of the CO 2 uptakes of a crassulacean acid metabolism plant is a linear combination of delayed oscillation waves of cells. In the proposed method, we separate the estimation laws for time delays and linear coupling coefficients and apply the proposed method to estimate delay sequences of CO 2 uptakes obtained by the experiment.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
