Preventive excavations carried out at Maisons-Alfort, Z.A.C. d'Alfort I (France), disclosed several Pleistocene and Holocene occupation levels. The Chassey enclosure fills up a blank between Bassée and Oise. The Late Bronze Age level contributes to the analysis of relations between the Northern-Alpine and Atlantic complexes of the Late Bronze Age lib - Ilia. The interest of the Seine and Marne confluence has been confirmed by the recent discovery of a site on the Z.A.C. d'Alfort II, some 250 m downstream from the one described here.
