Sea transportation is one of the major transportation in the scope of transport industry and plays important role towards the growth of performance in the industry that involves the movement of good (MOG). With the crucial operations, it is also essential to concern about the employee’s welfare, such as long working hours that occurred due to non-systematic procedure for the MOG. The long working hours been potentitially impact to the psychological factors of works stress and physical and health effects. Therefore, this research is important to be studied in order to develop the simulation model on MOG in sea freight for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), effectively and efficiency. Initially, this research is startup by defining all existed activities with the duration as required. Subsequently, the business model of MOG in sea freight is developed according to the case study in order to develop the simulation model. This research is give a guide for future research towards providing a well-computer-based by applying the decision support system, especially to manage and control the movement of goods in sea freight.
The construction industry has many underlying causes of uncertainty that has impact on late delivery of project completion's performance as well as in time management. The issue on uncertainty delays directly impact the project performance that leads into unnecessary time extension. The objective of the research is the way to create a valid model towards the environmental uncertainty factors. Therefore, this research is conducted to identify the impact of environmental issues which affect the period of project completion using the Witness software system. A literature review revealed the types of other uncertainty factors that affect the project completion by using other software’s such as Monte Carlo analysis and relative important index. This research is intended to measure the impact of each environmental factor using the Witness software system by evaluating their significant level of each. The significant level of the factors was determined by using the SPSS statistics software tools. The model will help to manage the time and costing factors by reducing the main impact from the environment. This will aid all project contractors in managing their resources and time utilities.
This conceptual paper describes the formation of theoretical framework for flipped learning competencies and readiness among English lecturers. This paper has been divided into several categories such as introduction, background of the study, the objectives of the research, theoretical framework and conclusion. From the study, it can be seen that there is one theory and one model that has been used in this study such as Theory of Planned Behavior and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). As this research not covering all 4 main models of blended learning, future research can be focused on the whole model of blended learning from various aspects.
