This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Mutira NPK fertilizer dosage (16-16-16) and Mabar compost fertilizer on the growth and yield of mustard plants (Brassica juncea L). This research will be conducted in Cingkes, Dolok Silau District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra, with an altitude of + 1,150 m above sea level. This research will be conducted in October 2019 - November 2019. This research uses factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 treatment factors and 3 replications, namely: factor I with symbol (M) with a dose of M0: 0 gr / plot (control), M1: 18 gr, M2: 36 gr, M3 : 54 gr, and factor II with the symbol (K) with a dose of K0: 0 gr / plot (control), K1: 200 gr, K2: 400 gr, K3: 600 gr. So that obtained 16 treatment and repeated 3 times. Data from the observations were then performed analysis of variance with a F test of 5% level. If there is a significant difference (p <0.05), the test is continued with the DMRT test. The results showed that the treatment of the combination of NPK Mutiara fertilizer (16-16-16) and Mabar compost had a significant effect (p <0.05) on the variable growth of plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, plant wet weight, plant dry weight, diameter hump.

The research aims to determine the effects of Zeolites and Urea fertilizer on the production of maize. It was expected that the results of this study could reduce the use of urea fertilizer in producing corn, so that in the buildup to being more efficient and effective, it could also maintain productive soil conditions. The study was conducted from June-December 2017 in Gurusinga Village, Berastagi District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia, in the elevation of 1,250 meters above sea level, flat topography, andosol soil type (pH of 5.7). The experimental design was a factorial randomized block design. The first factor was the dose of Zeolite (Z) consisting of Z0 = 0 g / plot (control), Z1 = 105 g / plot, Z2 = 210 g / plot, Z3 = 315 g / plot, Z4 = 420 g / plot. The second factor was Urea fertilizer (U) consisting of U0 = 0 g / plant (control), U1 = 2.1 g / plant, U2 = 4.2 g / plant, U3 = 6.3 g / plant, U4 = 8, 4 g / plant with 3 replications. The results showed that the Zeolite and Urea fertilizer had a significant effect on the growth of corn plants (p <0.05) on plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), and leaf wide (cm2), while the number of leaves (strands) had no significant effect (p> 0.05). Zeolite and Urea fertilizer have a significant effect on the diameter of corncobs, length of corncobs, weight (gross and clean) per (sample and plot) and weight of 100 pieces (p <0.05), while the number of rows/cob has no significant effect (p> 0.05).

This study aims to identify the location of cattle development and study cattle in North Sumatra Province. The method in this study used purposive area sampling where the determination of the research area was taken based on the district/city having cattle from 2016-2020 at BPS North Sumatra. Data analysis was carried out using the Growth Ratio Model used in the analysis (MRP) and location quotient (LQ). The results showed that the districts included in classification I were Asahan, Dairi, Deli Serdang, South Tapanuli, Mandailing Natal, Labuhanbatu, Batu Bara, Tebing Tinggi, Toba, Karo, Simalungun, Serdang Bedagai, Langkat, South Labuhanbatu, North Labuhanbatu. , Tanjung Balai, Binjai, Medan, Pematang Siantar, North Padang Lawas, Padang Sidempuan, Central Tapanuli and Padang Lawas. For the classification area II, the districts of North Tapanuli, Nias, South Nias, North Nias, West Nias, Gunung Sitoli, Samosir, Sibolga, Humbang Hasundutan, Pakpak Bharat.

Pertumbuhan ekonomi setiap wilayah berbeda dengan wilayah lainnya. Oleh karena itu, perencanaan pembangunan ekonomi suatu wilayah harus memperhatikan aspek ekonomi, sosial, dan fisik wilayah tersebut, serta hubungannya dengan wilayah lain. Hal ini sangat penting bagi pembangunan ekonomi yang mengacu pada sektor unggulan, selain berpengaruh pada percepatan pertumbuhan ekonomi, juga akan mempengaruhi perubahan mendasar dalam struktur perekonomian daerah, untuk menciptakan pertumbuhan ekonomi dilihat dari perkembangan PDRB. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh jumlah penduduk, luas lahan, produksi, dan pendapatan daerah terhadap PDRB subsektor tanaman pangan di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Dari November hingga Desember 2021, penelitian dilakukan di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah fungsi Cobb-Douglas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan (Uji F) variabel jumlah penduduk, luas lahan, produksi dan pendapatan daerah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap PDRB subsektor tanaman pangan di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Variabel jumlah penduduk, produksi, dan pendapatan daerah berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial (uji t) terhadap PDRB subsektor tanaman pangan di Provinsi Sumatera Utara, namun luas lahan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap PDRB subsektor tanaman pangan di Provinsi Sumatera Utara.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui  pengaruh jarak tanam, konsentrasi ZPT dan interaksinya  terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat dilaksanakan di kebun petani  desa Sikab Dusun Siberteng Kecamatan Barusjahe  Kabupaten Karo Sumatera Utara, mulai bulan Januari sampai dengan  Juni 2019. Rancangan  penelitian adalah dengan rancangan acak klompok (RAK) factorial. Factor pertama adalah jarak tanam (J) terdiri dari J1(30 x30 cm),  J2 ( 30 x 40 cm) dan J3 (30 x 50cm).  factor kedua adalah (Z) terdiri dari Z0 ( 0 ml/ L), Z1 (1,75 ml/L ), Z2 (3,50 ml/L) dan  Z3( 5,25 ml/L). Hasil penelitian  jarak tanam pengaruh  nyata  berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah buah per plot, berat  buah per plot, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata pada tinggi tanaman, Jumlah buah sampel, Berat buah per sampel dan Persentase bunga jadi buah. Konsentrasi ZPT bionatan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman jumlah buah per plot, Jumlah buah per sampel, Berat buah per sampel, Berat buah per plot dan persentase bunga jadi buah. Intraksi jarak tanam dan ZPT bionatan berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah buah per sampel, jumlah buah per plot, berat buah per sampel,    berat buah per plot, dan persentase bunga jadi buah.  Jarak tanam yang dianjurkan untuk  jarak tanam J1 (30 cm x 30 cm) dan konsentrasi ZPT  adalah Z2 (3,50 ml/L).
