Feminism is an existential struggle to assert one's individuality-it stands for gender equality, independence and empowerment to women. The concept of feminism examines and analyzes gender identity, by way of targeting women's autonomous self-identity. If we enter into the world of cyberspace we find technology is opening up the possibility for female emancipation. Over just two decades, the Internet has worked a thorough revolution and is considered to be a great equalizer; yet, access to it is not uniformly shared. This paper explores what Internet along with the cyberspace signifies to women and how they employ the cyberspace for their personal schedule from a socio-anthropological perspective. Cyber feminism is basically involved with countering the recognized and accepted domination of men in the employment and advancement of information and communication technology (ICT) and cyberspace. The image of technology needs to change to incorporate a female view.
Religion was our first attempt at literature, cosmology, ecology, making sense of where we are in the universe. All religions are inherently predisposed to mystical experience-a harmonious and balanced existence and substantiation of Nature and manman, who is conscious of his existence both in the material and the spiritual realm, as man is the highest spirit and the lowest matter linked by mind. Ecomysticism embraces the idea that all life is sacred and hence revered. This paper discusses the ecological philosophy which enunciates God's presence in every being that surround us and tries to evaluate the holistic spiritual ecology launched by Tagore. The unity of being in his works teaches that everything in the universe arises from the One, emanates from Him; deduces that the Supreme, humans and the environment form one ecosystem and recognizes the mutually augmenting relationships with the natural world-an understanding of the unity and interdependence of the bio-network. It elicits that the manifest is on voyage to the Unmanifest together with our pilgrim souls.
Cosmic mysticism is an immediate experience of oneness with God by means of ecstatic and wordless contemplation. The Indian Renaissance poets Rabindranath Tagore and Sri Aurobindo are spiritual humanists who believe that the entire creation is pervaded by the presence of God. Their exceptional minds have an instinctive urge to synthesize and transform, transmute and transcend the aspects of reality. They regard humans as a replica of the Divine Spirit and hence they value man's ideals and aspirations. Their ways of depicting this is very different, albeit their works bear an analogous thematic purpose, which is cosmic mysticism. This paper delineates the perception of cosmic mysticism in the works of Tagore and Aurobindo. The central theme of their writingsthe spiritualization of earthly liferests on their beliefs that God exists in all of Nature and that spiritual intuition makes it possible for every individual to become conscious of their own divinity. The poets display the cosmic trinity of mind, body and soul in their works and are committed to achieving cosmic consciousness and social amelioration.
