The purpose of this paper is to propose and empirically substantiate modification of SERVPERF instrument. We demonstrate difference in practical realization of SERVQUAL (Perceptions-Minus-Expectations) and modified SERVPERF (Performance-Minus-Expectation) based on qualitative and two quantitative methodological studies carried out at the Faculty of Sociology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. We used questionnaire adaptation for higher educational institutes (HEI).The sample size of the quantitative studies (10 persons of 2nd year of education, 10 persons of 3nd year of education, 10 persons of 4th year of Bachelor degree program and 5 persons of 2nd year of Master degree program; every 4th student of each year of education) complies with the used statistical test and the sample size requirements for focus groups. To compare the instruments we used nonparametric Wilcoxon signed rank test implemented in the statistical programming package R. Our finding is that modified SERVPERF is more convenient for students, smaller and more useful for online surveys. So, the difference in mean values of answer’s levels is more significant between modified SERVPERF and normalized SERVQUAL than between modified SERVPERF and perceptions in SERVQUAL. Although the research has limitation – it is reconnaissance one and made as a one of steps for adaptation and validation of models for service quality measuring in Ukrainian HEI based on survey of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv students, however, the results of this methodological study allow other researchers to conduct representative studies using an adapted questionnaire of SERVQUAL at their universities. This result is important for service quality estimation which is needed for universities to monitor and improve the quality of their services and elaborate marketing strategy now.

Significant influence of the quality of educational services in the perception of students is demonstrated by research conducted by scientists at various universities around the world. Such research is the basis of quality assurance policy as part of the strategic management of the university. The quality of educational services is studied by the authors on the basis of the normalized SERVQUAL model. Five partial indices and total index are based on the data collected in eight Ukrainian universities. The high value of the Cronbach"s Alpha coefficient confirmed the internal consistency of the model indicators. Results of ANOVA and comparison of confidence intervals confirmed the differentiating ability of the model: data for different universities differ statistically significantly. The influence of the university"s ranking place on the general index is revealed.
The presence of specific phenomena of post-soviet anomy such as the criminalization of judicial and legal system, «state capture», double institutionalization and others aggravates the condition of social disorganization of Ukrainian society. Determination of the degree of influence of anomy on society as a whole and on selected groups is the main goal of this study. The author has used a technique construction of Index of Anomic Demoralization, Cynicism Index, and two Indexes of Social Well-being on the datasets of national surveys (1992-2012) of the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. All indexes for the entire period are quite high and they indicate the total anomy of Ukrainian society. After having analyzed the indicators of anomy in regional, age and sex, and professional and labour aspects, the author came to the following conclusions: (1) indications of anomy and cynicism are aggravated from the West to the East of the country, while the inhabitants of the Southwest and Kyiv feel less demoralized; inhabitants of the Southeastern part of Ukraine-are more demoralized; social well-being of the rural population is significantly worse than that of the inhabitants of large cities; (2) age differences as an indicator of generational change are more significant than regional, it signifies the integrity of the Ukrainian society; (3) professional and labour Ukrainians' differences according to indicators of anomy and cynicism are the most significant. The results confirm the need to reform public institutions, the involvement of professionals in all spheres of public life.
The current relevance of the research. The paper is devoted to the research of fat body content influence on the parameters of physical state at 30-years women. It was determined that increasing of fat body content at 30-49 years women negatively affects speed, active spine flexibility, explosive strength, agility, power dynamic endurance of muscles of upper limb girdle and lower extremities, speed-power endurance of abdominal muscles, static fatigue of gluteal muscles and total endurance. Goal of research is to investigate the parameters of physical preparation of 30-49 years women depending on fat body content. Results of research: It is established the dependence between speed, active spine flexibility, explosive strength, agility, power dynamic endurance of muscles of upper limb girdle and lower extremities, speed-power endurance of abdominal muscles, static fatigue of gluteal muscles, total endurance and fat body content. The increasing fat body content at 30-36 years women leads to more negative effects compare to 37-49 years women. Conclusions. It is proved the reasonability of creation of special water fitness program for 30-49 years women. The purpose of such program is improving of physical qualities.Key words: physical preparation, physical qualities, makeup of body mass fat content.Cвітлана Сальникова.
