Dear Sir Á We read with interest the article by de Lemos on the parenteral administration of vinorelbine in a recent edition of the journal. 1 Vinorelbine was first used at Wollongong Hospital in 1997. As it was an unmarketed drug in Australia, imported vinorelbine supplies were obtained through the Special Access Scheme (SAS) of the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).We would like to share our early experiences with vinorelbine. The administration information accompanying the imported drug was brief but did warn against extravasation. The leaflet recommended that 'the injected dose should be diluted in a saline solution (e.g. 125 mL) and infused over a short
